I wish someone would answer you. I just got back and I'm confused on why we're voting "Yea." I'm not certain, but I believe this resolution allows for debate and a vote on the troop withdrawal resolution. The Dems don't want to vote on the troop withdrawal, so they're opposing it.

There are two votes, in fact. The first is a vote on a rule change so they can have the vote on the resolution. The second is the resolution itself.

This resolution is probably one of the simplest written things they have voted on all year and they need to vote TWICE within hours on just weather or not to vote on it....
Could you imagine trying to explain this to a child..... they would never trust you again...
