More interesting is who is NOT speaking.
dims may not want the vote, but they are not denying they want to cut and run.
Republicans are not hiding...they are calling their democrat "friends" to put their constituents up for a vote!
We are too close to winning this thing and they see it. They don't want to let that happen. That is what is so despicable about what they are doing.

Sorry, but that's the system we have. These are important issues that need to be brought out in front of the whole public. If our media had any responsibility at all, they would pre-empt "Ghost Whisperer" and televise this. Yes, the bad stuff will be shown on Al-Jizzzera, but you have to take the bad with the good. Public debate in a democracy is what it's all about, and, frankly, one of the big problems is that Bush has let this fester too long without calling these cowards on the carpet publicly.
I've seen Murtha interviewed a couple of times and he keeps saying he only wants to "pull the troops back" from inside Iraq. He implies he wants them deployed elsewhere in the region.
Has ANY MediaCrat asked him just where he's suggesting they be depolyed? We just left Saudi. Jordan just got bombed. Kuwait...maybe. Oh, wait! Let's send them to....Syria!
