FNC is mentioning that only 6 Dem Senators actually went to see the Intel documents before the war when they were given the opportunity to see them

No, it won't. If the Dems don't vote against withdrawal then we can tag their entire PARTY as Michael Moore.

If most vote against, their base will hate them.

If it's mixed, we're the majority still on issue and the sizeable minority placates their base somewhat but still leaves a stench of white flag about their Party.

The only way it hurts is if we lose the vote, if so, all politicians go straight to hell and lose their next elections.

Any of these scenarios is a loss for Democrats. Only one for Republicans.

Gee, I know a lot more about the NFIP/FEMA issue than these folks talking. The one fellow said that in the past the money "borrowed" by NFIP has been paid back. That;s wrong.

The government should not be in the insurance business. Or, in the case of FEMA/NFIP, the government should not be in the insurance subsidy business.

And, the idiots that are saying that insurance policies that are written by the states now say that flood is covered are just trying to ripp off the insurers.

Howlin is no socialist. She's a good Republican.

Maybe you'd be more happy at DU.

Did I hurt your feelings? Perhaps you'd be more happy at DU. They have an affinity for your type.

You know, I'm somewhat of a Rep. Paul fan. I've taken the slings and arrows on FR for defending him at times. I don't agree with him on his stance on the War on Terror, but on many other issues I do agree with him. So, don't paint me as anti-Paul.

That being said, stop being such an ass. Go find something else to do.

It will be interesting because I don't think every democrat in this country is anti-war (unless they've all been reduced to tin hat status).

I don't either. But the other day I heard something about all the rats signing a contract that said they would vote with their leadership. I think in the end their leadership is going to have to let them vote against them.
