GOP Pulls Fast One... Tells Dems: Pull Troops Now? Okay, then let's vote!!!!! Tonight. 7 p.m. in House... Ultimate showdown...
lol..Rose so right.
What's being voted on now is a procedural motion to bring the vote to the floor on the same day it was introduced. This is not the "big one". They're deciding if it will come to a vote.
LOL!
I can't keep up with the vote OR this thread
SOrry if anyone has posted to me and I haven't responded!
LOL!!
209
203
We are up
It's almost a lock right now that the yeas have it.
I sure hope they do nail those whiners. No money from the RNC when they run again. Cowards.
14 more votes to go.
This is like a fight in a hockey game. It can get our guys fired up and back in it. Could the Senate Pubbies propose a similar resolution?
What is the house voting on now?
Republicans are pulling ahead..209-203
Ease up on the video gaming.
We have clinched if all other repubs go yes... 209 - 203 with 6 dems left
Listen to all these callers: "I'm a Republican but I'm voting with the Democrats on this."
Right.
Please pass this so I can have more to watch tonight!!!
A Dimm caller just questioned why his party is running (my word) from taking a vote on this.
That's a good point.

Excerpts:
House Republicans sought a showdown Friday with Democrats on a proposal by one of their most senior members....
Murtha, a well-respected Vietnam veteran who voted for the Iraq war....
Republicans were seeking to force Democrats to stand with the respected 30-year congressman....
Murtha, a longtime hawk on foreign and military affairs issues....
A day after his comments, a U.S. field commander in Iraq countered the position of the usually pro-military congressman....
As a Vietnam veteran and top Democrat on the House Appropriations defense subcommittee with close ties to many military officers, Murtha carries more credibility with his colleagues on the issue than a number of other Democrats who have opposed the war from the start....
With a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts, Murtha retired from the Marine Corps reserves as a colonel in 1990 after 37 years as a Marine, only a few years longer than he's been in Congress. Elected in 1974, Murtha has become known as an authority on national security whose advice was sought out by Republican and Democratic administrations alike.
And of course:
Also a Vietnam veteran, Kerry...
Help me. am i rooting for yea or ney
AHHH!!! What's the "magic" number for a vote?
I hope there's no cure.
guy on the phone says Iraq has nothing to do with al-quaeda.."hello, baghdad..I'd like to talk to mr. zarquawi please..I understand he has nothing to do with al-quaeda"
