A PARANORMAL figure, a poltergeist, allegedly resurfaced for the umpteenth time at Mumbwenge Combined School, five kilometres from Oshigambo in the Ohangwena Region, tormenting 40 learners.
The mysterious and extremely sinister image, as described by learners, carries a garden fork and it is with this fork that it presses them down to the ground trying to tie them up and to kill them.
The voices of children screaming could be heard in the background when New Era called the school principal, Helena Makili, amidst the unfolding drama yesterday afternoon after three o'clock

In the movie "The Exorcist". it takes two priests about a night to get rid of a demon. In the Bible, it would usually take about 2 seconds per event. The fact that these people are having such trouble means they are either not Christians at all, and mixing tribal beliefs/superstitions with their Bible teachings, or, they are hallucinating.

Because it was done by Christ Himself, or by those who he gave supernatural gifts to. There is no one alive today who has the power to do such things - His revelation is completed in the written word of the Bible.
If such a possession were indeed happening, prayer is the best and only option.

And Jesus is still more than happy to work through people to do it. Can be done by any Christian with faith and God's spirit

There are always the old direct approaches: wooden stake or silver bullet. The neat part is they work equally well on people pretending to be evil spirits.

Possible, and even likely. However, there are some demons that even the apostles couldn't cast out immediately because, as Jesus told them, some come out only by prayer and fasting. OTOH, if you're mixing pagan rituals with your Christianity, you shouldn't be surprised if the exorcism doesn't work.

Give it a few days, and they'll murder the poor old woman who happens to live next door to the school. Witchcraft accusations have lead to the death (or becoming an outcast) of so many innocents over the centuries in Africa. And it's still going on today.
Anybody heard of the ritual called "smelling out?" (Shaka Zulu.)
