DFU: Another Five Dead - Stop the Dying and End it Now

FReepers, you probably thought you would never hear me say it or put it in print. But enough is enough. Too many have died. And for what?

We have had enough dead fathers and brothers and sons and grandsons. We have lost some of our best Americans. There have been too many funerals and too many serious injuries.

How did we get to this place in our history? Is the President to blame?

Yes, I know that some of you say they went voluntarily. That's nice, but it doesn't help when you will never see your loved one again.

So here is the plan. It is simple. END IT NOW! The President can issue an executive order.

In the last hour, five Americans lost their lives in automobile accidents. If they had been walking, they would be still be alive. If we ended automobile transportation, over 40,000 lives would be saved each year.

Come on, Mr. President, do the right thing. Stop the SUVs. Stop the mini trucks. Stop the full-size trucks. Stop the soccer mom vans. Stop the sedans. Stop the coupes. Stop the convertibles. Stop the hybrids. Stop the kit cars. And especially, stop any vehicle that was made in France. Besides, if we walk, everyone will lose weight. And it will end global warming and save the world.

You had me going there for a minute. My keyboard was warming up for a response and then I got to the last paragraph.

I don't like to see our military guys over there either, I have friends over there, but I honestly believe that the DemonRats, and their MSM handmaidens are doing their level best to put on the worst possible face on this. And, as human beings we generally are much more susceptible to become pessimistic, believe the worst, and despair of hope. (That's one of the reasons negative campaign ads are so effective - it's a lot easier to believe and be influenced by negative gossip.)

So, ya had me going there, but I'm with ya. We're doing serious business in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Will I have to get soft soled shoes for my team of Horses,will I have to purchase lights for the buggy, where will the water troughs be located, will it cost, I now have more decisions to make. Do I have to clean up the pasture biscuits? What environmental laws will placed along the highways? Geese too many problems already.
