Hard to know if he's the worst enemy or whether the Murtha's of this country are.

A recent study about Iraq's insurgency by the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington estimated that 3,000 foreign fighters had gone to Iraq to join the terrorist bands. Of which 2,000 have either blown themselves up or been shot by American and Iraqi forces. Keep em coming.

"Now, battle-hardened, they form the vanguard of a "foreign legion",,,"
Battle-hardened from what? Hiding behind bushes setting off remote bombs?

I wonder how many of these jihadis have already crossed our southern border, waiting for orders to attack...

If the democrats succeed in withdrawing from Iraq, Zarqawi will eventually do something to make 9/11 look small.

When are we going to start executing these people? When are we going to end travel from terrorist countries? When are we going to take global jihad seriously? Not just our country, but all countries.

The world's most feared terrorist mastermind, who has been responsible for a two-year campaign of violence in Iraq, is planning to turn his sights on moderate regimes in the Middle East, Europe and Africa, where he intends to spread his ruthless brand of jihad.Couldn't this be considered as a sign Zarqawi sees Iraq as a lost cause?
To: Jim Robinson
I wrote a few prognostication back when the coalition forces were playing cat-and-mouse with al-Satr that al-Zarqawi would be a more heinous foe if he ever gained a state or other financial support.
It appears that is coming true.
The Dems and anti-war Libs need to wake up to the fact this the war with Islamofanaticism is a World War.
Nearly all of the worldly armed conflicts (approximately 100 going on throughout the world now) within the last 5 years have been with/against/by Islamics/Muslims. Western Civilization is facing the same foe our ancestors did from 700 to 1300 AD. The first foreign conflict the new USA faced was Thomas Jefferson confronting the Barbary Pirates (who happened to be muslims). We need a refresher on wold history. We face the same threat. When will be have national leadership in Western nations to 'do the deed' -- do what is necessary to preserve our Western civilization?

Sounds like he is succeeding with this most recent attack on the shiite mosque. How long are muslims going to put up with this?

3,000 foreign fighters.....form the vanguard of a "foreign legion"That's a pretty small band to take on the Western World (not to mention Thailand, Indonesia, etc.). They can do some damage, but nothing major. Even a dirty bomb would only cause a few casualties (plus an unusable area of some major city).

Zarqawi commands more people, has access to greater funds and enjoys growing support among young Muslims drawn to his slick Web sites, which give lurid details of his latest attacks on "infidels." Can someone attempt, again, to persuade me how this is evidence that only a "tiny" percentage of muslims are the problem?

again americas real secret weapon is the media and hollywood. Who distribute such a contorted view of who we as americans are that our enemies act on their preception of us rather than who we really are. That builds a false sense of confidence in them. We as americans have seen these guys as merly a fly in the room. They will do somthing to finally make us pound our pruning hooks into spears and we will set down the olive branch and pick up the sword. They will cry for mercy but find none until their is no more trace of them. We will salt the fields of their culture so it will not grow for generations. They will have brought this fight on themselves.

Zarqawi is a only a regional commander for the Islamic movement there are others just like him who are not hot news topics right now. We need to keep in mind while hunting these individuals down that there are bigger fish to fry.
