On Nov 11 we had a huge turnout of FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond on a cool, but relatively nice, evening. This was FReep #30 as FReepers have countered Code Pinkos at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center as their have for over 7 months. Leftists sent over a tag team to our side that included the "world's oldest community college student," but they were rebuffed. Pinko Eric "Squeegee Guy" provided us with some good laughs on his way as he left. We were pleased to have numerous veterans join us for the Veterans' Day FReep, including one Operation Iraqi Freedom vet and another vet who just returned from his stint as a contractor in Camp Fallujah, Iraq.
Code Pink is truly stuck in a quagmire as FReepers severely hinder the Pinkos' cynical attempts to manipulate severely wounded soldiers and relatives in hopes of finding those who will join the anti-war movement and break faith with the troops still fighting a ruthless enemy. Please help us by showing up next Friday night per details below. Stand up against the Pinkos who've endorsed "the Iraqi resistance" (as they call our enemy, see here and here), given money to the other side in Fallujah, and called our troops "killers." Then, the Pinkos demonstrate at the hospital and pretend that they support our troops.
Please join us this Friday, Nov 18, at 6:30 pm per details below.
To help people get there on time, without having to stop for dinner, we got pizza on site at the FReep.
The honor roll of those in attendance (lurkers are marked with an asterisk*): Abby4116, Albion Wilde, ALlRightAllTheTime, Apple Blossom, beandog and son, Bill* from MD, Black Republican, bmwcyle, bstein80, BufordP, Coop, Dee* (she gave me what I thought was a screen name, but there was no such name) and husband and grandson, Doctor Raoul, Eric* from MD, Fraxinus, Hartleyboy, Honest Conservative, Iraqikurd, Jack Deth, jhopkins, Jimmy Valentines brother, Joan* from MD, JoyjoyfromNJ, Justanobody, kristinn, Mr. Sarcastic, Mrs. Sarcastic, NerdwithaMachineGun, Nina0113, Oscar*, PleaDeal, Sisku Hanne, SonOfTGSL, TBP and wife, tgslTakoma, Tom the Redhunter, trooprally (two FReepers: Mr. & Mrs.), and BillF and brother. That's 44 of us and included numerous FReepers who traveled the extra mile by coming from far away.
The event was so large that I can only present that part of the story that I saw. If you were there, please describe your own experiences at the FReep. Also, let me know if I publish your photo without your name or, worse, I mislabel you in a photo.

Click on another photo and its larger version should open in the same window that the first enlarged photo did. Or you can simply close the window with the enlarged photo and click on another photo in the report to open a new window with an enlarged photo. Note that some of the wider photos may open in a window wider than your screen and you can use a horizontal scroll bar to see parts. Photos will be interspersed in the report.
Photos were taken by tgslTakoma (click here for her full outstanding collection of photos), bmwcyle (click here for his full outstanding collection of photos), trooprally (click here for his or her full outstanding collection of photos), NerdwithaMachineGun, and I. The photographer can be determined from the name of the photo. You can see that on hyperlinked photos (i.e., borders at edge) by running your mouse over them. On other photos, right click on the photo and click properties. The key is this: photos taken by bmwcyle begin with "Dbmw," photos taken by tgslTakoma begin with "Dtgsl," photos taken by trooprally begin with "Dtroop," photos taken by NerdwithaMachineGun begin with "Dnerd,", and photos of mine begin with "DSCN."]
Opposed to our 44 patriots, the Pinkos managed to get, at most, only 39 America-hating traitors and their well-meaning, but incredibly-misguided, dupes. The dupes do not realize that their Pinko organizers, who claim to support our troops, call our troops "killers," endorse "the Iraqi resistance" (those killing and wounding our troops, see here and here), and have given money to "the other side" in Fallujah.

Among the FReepers and patriots who came out on this Friday, Veterans' Day, were some with special ties to Iraq. NerdwithaMachineGun was just back from Camp Fallujah, Iraq, where he had worked as a contractor. His vehicle was hit, albeit ineffectively, by an IED, during his last week in Iraq. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured and Nerd escaped with a bruise on his wrist from the vehicle bouncing around in the explosion. My brother Jerry, a former F-4 backseater, had volunteered for Operation Iraqi Freedom with the USAFR and served in Qatar and briefly in Iraq in 2003 in a support capacity. We were also pleased to have JoyjoyfromNJ, who traveled to DC on her own, as well as four first-time Walter Reed FReepers brought in from distance by Doctor Raoul. |
One of the FReepers' signs was outstanding. |

Totally disregarding the danger of global warming, the leftists burn their candles, but still can't get their flag to ignite.
Pinkos' main corner. November 11 marks the Armistice which ended World War I. Germany and its allies basically surrendered and
limited their future military power by treaty, which treaty was later broken by Hitler's German government. Do you suppose that
the Pinkos want Zarqawi to surrender and to stop blowing up weddings with suicide bombers?

During the FReep, a Pinko guy (right side of left below photo) approached us from the front and asked if "there is anyone here who can engage in a reasonable discussion." During the commotion as people told him to return to his side, the leftist woman (right side of below photo) walked in behind our lines carrying a fancy camera. After being made aware of her presence, bmwcyle immediately asked her to leave. She claimed that she was press. He asked to see her press credentials. She had none, but suddenly make up a story that she needed photos for a class that she was taking at a local community college. bmwcyle told her that she would have to leave or the police would be called. She left. Shortly thereafter, the condescending "Mr. Reasonable" slinked back to the Pinko side.
"Mr. Reasonable" on right was the decoy.

Pinko holds distorted peace symbol as Eric "Squeegee Guy" |
The Armistice banner of the Pinkos seemed to conflict with another banner that they pulled out. It was a pink sheet that said "Pray for the dead, fight like hell for the living." When FReepers asked them "how could they fight like hell" if there was an armistice, they put the pink sheet away and keep it out of use. The flash distorted the color of the oblong peace symbol at left. It was really pizza tomato sauce red. Eric "Squeegee Guy" left the Pinkos early and had a surprise roll by on us. He had boarded a Metro transit bus. As it went by us, the bus slowed down and he waved a Cheney mask outside the bus window to great laughter from the FReepers. Way to go, Squeegee! We didn't think that you had it in you, but you proved us wrong. I see a sit-com in his future. So he's supporting Cheney in 2008. If Squeegee shouted anything, I didn't hear it, but I can guess ("put a real neo-con in the White House in 08"). At any rate, it was much better than the "I have a bullet at my place for you" line that he was said to have previously used on Rolling Thunder members. |
After the Pinkos had withdrawn to escape being flipped off in mass by Walter Reed patients returning from a night on the town, and after some FReepers retook the Pinko side of the street, tgslTakoma took the photo showing that Pinkos left a partially burned cup and remnants of a candle (lower left of photo) on the ground. Not only do they add to global warming, but the Pinkos throw litter on the street. As usual, when the bus of wounded troops and family members returned from their free meal at Fran O'Brien's, the bus riders and FReepers exchanged signals and shouts of appreciation for each others' presence. Some FReepers then went onto the base to talk to the troops and express support for them, without regard to any political matters. Let's help our wounded heroes maintain a positive attitude. We absolutely must keep the pressure on Code Pink and keep showing the wounded troops at Walter Reed that Code Pink doesn't speak for the nation. If you live in the DC area and haven't yet come out for one of these FReeps, please do so this next Friday. Injured Walter Reed patients, including amputees, have repeatedly told us how important it is for us to be there to counter Code Pink.
If we can sufficiently outnumber the leftists often enough, embarrassment may cause the leftists to stop these outrageous morale-damaging ("Maimed for a lie" was one of their commonly-used signs) demonstrations at the hospital. At the very least, we can hinder their psychological warfare operation against the wounded troops. What about you? Can you spare a few hours on a Friday night? |

Can you give up next Friday night at the movies to support troops who've given up limbs for your freedoms? Will you?
This FReep is rewarding, fun, and important for our troops and our nation.

Thank you to BillF and brother for the ride to the rally. It was a pleasure meeting you all and I truly appreciate the dedication of the dc chapter and everyone there to supporting the troops. I'm seeing what I can do with my schedule to get back down again--with a sign not finished at 3:30AM. Wish I could have met Capt Z and Caren; I've followed the blog since before his dunk in the Iraqi canal so I appreciate the pictures.
P.S. The advice about the hand/toe warmers is very important! Also makes you appreciate the troops stationed over in the mountains of Afghanistan. God bless them all!
It looks like I missed a GREAT time!!! You were all in my thoughts on Veterans Day. I hope to make it again in December.
Nice photos!
I love your sign. Way to go.
DC FReepers bump!
Why does it not surprise me that pink-os would put candles in plastic cups?
A tomato that big deserves a large hamburger to go with it.
Joy:
Hey there!
Thanks again for the use of the scarf and gloves. I think I have finally defrosted.
Code Pink vermin will stay in luxury hotels strictly forbidden to Cubans.
They will undoubtedly have a worshipful meeting with the mass-murdering tyrant Castro. These are the very same monsters harassing wounded soldiers ar Walter Reed!
Meanwhile, peaceful pro-democracy protests are brutally broken up by communist stormtrooper thugs supported and adored by Code Pink
Pool for Cubans:
Code Pink will party on rafts at the Cuban beaches
Cubans wave good-bye to loved ones setting out (many to die) on rafts trying to escape the liberal/socialist paradise:
What really was heartening was that, even in the bowels of a lib cesspool like DC, the cars who honked in support of us VASTLY outnumbered the pinkos by like 10:1. I mean it was not just the vehicles going in & out of WR, but countless ones just traveling the street. I only hope that more of those who support our troops and their mission begin to speak up loudly against their enemies here at home.
I was also surprised at the pinkos lack of "spirit". They really just seem to be going through the motions. Anyone with any sense or moral center has left them long ago, and the husk that remains is just a bunch of misfits & dried up 60's relics. They'd be pitiable if they weren't so evil.
Can't wait to do it again! , prayers, & big hugs to any WR patient who may happen to be reading this thread. I am forever grateful to all for your service to our country.
Wonderful story and thread, BillF and all who were there! It was an extremely spirited evening, probably because the outrageousness of these moonbats showing up on Veteran's Day with their holier-than-thou b******t was too much to take. Our (north) end of the FR battle line shouted at them pretty much constantly until they slunk away, many before their usual quittin' time, such endearments as,
"Pathetic losers!"
"You people are despicable, showing up here on Veteran's Day!"
"What do you mean, Professor, 'War is a war crime'? Is that like 'why do they call it rush hour, when all the cars go slow'?"
"You hear those beeps? They're for us, not for you!"
"Your vee-sign is for Victory! Victory in Iraq! They [passing cars] think you're with us!" (This actually made the newbies stop putting up the vee-sign.)
"What do you want, another 9-11?"
"While you're in Cuba, be sure to visit the political prisoners!"
"We thought you diversity people had good taste!"
Et cetera. Very, very satisfying to let them know how revolting they are.
We had more fun last night. Pictures soon.
waiting for pictures! thank you. your family rocks.
Oy vey, don't invite him back to this thread please. [sigh]
He was not pinged.
Phew [wiping brow]. Good photos!
I like the one where they turned their backs to the bus. This is how they feel about the troops.
Great pics. See they got another American flag. Musta stole it off some patriot's porch last weekend.
