John Murtha's statement of a call to surrender further places the oustanding men and women of our US military in jeopardy while performing their mission. This john kerryesque tirade by Murtha is at least borderline treason, if not so as Gunny Bob has said in his column.
The guy likely served his nation with honor. I agree that his comments are very very unfortunate. I still think he's just lost his ability to think clearly. I'd rather think that and see the Marines given this advise by a man with failing health, than to think that a healthy Marine could so embarass his brethren in arms.
Someone should drive this guy back home to his district, and get him some medical care.
