"...GRAND CANYON, Ariz. (Reuters) - Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry said on Monday he would have voted for the congressional resolution authorizing force against Iraq even if he had known then no weapons of mass destruction would be found.
Taking up a challenge from President Bush, whom he will face in the Nov. 2 election, the Massachusetts senator said: "I'll answer it directly. Yes, I would have voted for the authority..."

Is it flip or flop? I lost track.
This fool is so lacking in credibility, honesty, patriotism, and any other good quality, it is a farse, when he says anything.
I think its a flop, the return to a first position.
Funny how HYPOCRITE is spelled the same and means the same thing in both French and English.
"...there's absolutely no statement that they have made or that they will make that will prevent the United States of America and this president or any president from acting in what they believe are the best interests of our country."
"I think the United States has always reserved the right and will reserve the right to act in its best interests. And clearly it is not just our best interests, it is in the best interests of the world to make it clear to Saddam Hussein that he's not going to get away with a breach of the '91 agreement that he's got to live up to, which is allowing inspections and dismantling his weapons and allowing us to know that he has dismantled his weapons. That's the price he pays for invading Kuwait and starting a war."
"I believe, and they stood with us today and I am saying to you that it is my judgment that by standing with us today and calling for the unrestricted, unconditional, unlimited, you know, access, they have now taken a stand that they are duty bound to enforce and if Saddam Hussein doesn't do that, the president, I think, has begun a process which you remember very well, John, was not done in one week, in one day, in one month. It took months to weave together the fabric to lead up to an understanding of what was at stake. I am convinced that many people have not yet even focused in full measure on what is at stake."
This is a great find! It contradicts everything he's been saying for the past few weeks.
Have you sent it to anyone in the media?
Kerry should keep quiet or he's gonna get caught ping
Isn't this the same guy who said that knowing what he knows now, he would never have voted for that resolution?
John Kerry changes positions more often than a Nevada prostitute!!
Really, this should be pulled.
I don't know who to send it to... You would think it would be just as easy for them (MSM) to find it as it was for us!
It is from 2004, it is just another example of the double-speak of Democrats that continues to go unchecked by the MSM...
What he's really saying is that if he didn't know now what he didn't know then, then he wouldn't have not voted for the resolution, maybe.

lol, good one.
"I, John Kerry, swear that I will not vow to do as I did, when I did not do it, because knowing what I now know that I did not know, I would surely have chosen to not do some things differently, unless something I learned now could change how I felt about something back then, at which point I believe I would've acted appropriate, assuming that inappropriate action was not the most appropriate action, at which point I would have to consult the polls before deciding how much I knew, or did not know when I did or did not do what I was supposed to have done, knowing what I know now."
OK, but that should be made clear, perhaps by putting the original date in brackets at the end of the headline. I think most of us assume an article is current unless stated otherwise.
"This fool is so lacking in credibility, honesty, patriotism, and any other good quality, it is a farse, when he says anything."
Good summary which fits not just Kerry but ALL the Demorats. When Demorats speak, ears are on auto mute.
