Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island
I'm jealous. I'd love to visit some of these Buddhist temples.
Yesterday I got my copy of the Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program Grant Application. It was just good to see her name - especially after I had met with someone who had anti-Bush pictures in the office. It was uncomfortable for me, but I couldn't say anything since I was doing research and it is part of my work to, w/o comment, look at people's offices. The person happily pointed out the pictures and said what a great place it was to work because s/he could have them openly. I felt dirty.
So, it just made me feel good, as a Laura fan and as a professional, to see 'Laura Bush' in big letters. It makes me even happier to think that a lot of Bush bashing academics are going to have to type 'Laura Bush' on a bunch of applications in order to get grant money this year. hahaha
Sorry for venting. Presoallly, I was a bit surprised at the feelings I had seeing those pictures.
My pleasure
Just wanted to see that again. Sweet.
