ARTICLE: The Left's RECKLESS TET-OFFENSIVE-GAMBIT REPLAY: the left's jihad against America is killing our troops, aiding + abetting the terrorists and imperiling all Americans
- POSTSCRIPT
- 11.17.05:
id you see it? bill clinton made page one of Aljazeera today, the paper delightfully detailing how the impeached ex-president trashed America's war effort to standing Os in the Arab state of Dubai. (Having failed to snare the Nobel Peace Prize by ignoring terrorism, clinton is now trying the tried and true method of Jimmy Carter.)
This legacy confab is in and of itself proof certain of clinton's deeply flawed character, and a demonstration in real time of the way in which the clinton years were about a legacy that was incidentally a presidency.
Madeleine Albright captured the essence of this dysfunctional presidency best when she explained why clinton couldn't go after bin Laden.
According to Richard Miniter, the Albright revelation occurred at the cabinet meeting that would decide the disposition of the USS Cole bombing by al Qaeda [that is to say, that would decide to do what it had always done when a "bimbo" was not spilling the beans on the clintons: Nothing]. Only Clarke wanted to retaliate militarily for this unambiguous act of war.
Albright explained that a [sham] Mideast accord would yield [if not peace for the principals, surely] a Nobel Peace Prize for clinton. Kill or capture bin Laden and clinton could kiss the 'accord' and the Peace Prize good-bye.
If clinton liberalism, smallness, cowardice, corruption, perfidy--and, to borrow a phrase from Andrew Cuomo, clinton cluelessness--played a part, it was, in the end, the Nobel Peace Prize that produced the puerile pertinacity that enabled the clintons to shrug off terrorism's global danger.

Meanwhile, back in the Senate the missus, the other half of the clinton construct, maintains her hawkish pose (although one must note she is having bird problems of another sort).
Yet another example of the clinton conflation ploy, (see SCHEMA PINOCCHIO: how the clintons are handling the hillary dud factor), this variant allows "clinton, the construct" to hold two mutually exclusive positions simultaneously, thereby enabling the missus to avoid in '08 the trap that repeatedly ensnared the ever 'nuanced' Kerry in '04.
Do you now understand how stupid the clintons think you are?

I believe the WH must go on the offensive. It is not enough simply to debunk the lies.
Absolutely and thank you so much, Mia T, for all you do here! You are so astute, so savvy and so creative, etc. What can you suggest for those of us who are not?
Reid sounds like he has been indoctrinated; every time I listen to him it sounds like he has had a serious break from reality.
I'm in Texas; what can I do that will have the most impact?

"Our culture has become desensitized to treason."
Mia T
Amen to that. And thanks to the willing accomplices in the MSM...the public has been told what these people are doing isn't treason...but something bordering on heroic and patriotic.

Glad to see your gun's primed, Tonk.
If Kerry had been dismissed and subsequently court martialed, he'd be exiting the Navy Brig about now. He'd be a relatively unknown caricature, an infamous figure akin to Lt Calley. After all, he did testify before Congress to committing war crimes.
That never happened. Kerry was embraced by the Left, raised him to Senatorship with a hand from the Swimmer, one who knows a thing or two about fleeing danger.
Many of Kerry's criminal actions, forgery, lying to Congress, numerous violations of the UCMJ are beyond the Statutes of Limitations....but many of his current activities akin to his treasonous past behavior warrant Censure and expulsion from office. It's doubtful that will happen.
We have one realistic course. Defeat Kerry politically and deny him his office.
Support SBVT and keep the fires burning!

May 1970
Kerry and Julia traveled to Paris, France and met with Madame Nguyen Thi Binh, the Foreign Minister of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of Vietnam (PRG), the political wing of the Vietcong, and other Viet Cong and Communist Vietnamese representatives to the Paris peace talks, a trip he now calls a "fact-finding" mission.

thank you :)
I try to inform people who are receptive. In my experience, many hispanics share conservative values and are especially receptive... and Texas has a large hispanic population.... Imagine the landslide if each of us flipped just one democrat.

I've flipped two democrats but that was years ago. I've got my eye on two relatives...if I can just get them to register! Think I'll work on that...get the registration form, etc. and have them ready so when the election comes around, I won't have to cram! High taxes are their button issue because they have 3 small children and children aren't cheap so I work taxes into conversations as often as possible...without them getting too "itchy" that I've come "aproselytizing!"
Those Texas yellow dogs are hard to tame!
