Pickup driver killed in truck-school bus accident

The driver of pickup was killed when he collided with a Fort Bend Independent School District bus today.

None of the 13 passengers on the bus, students from Austin High School, had any reported injuries, said school district spokeswoman Nancy Porter.

This driver of the truck was a good friend of mine. I was informed of this bad news this morning. He was on his way to pick his son up from school. Although he was not a FReeper he was one of us in spirit.

Thank you, he just baught a new house and started a new job about 6 months ago.

the drivers think they can get away with anything

Just goes to show that any of us could go at anytime. I guess that is the real reason I posted this. Always good to have ones afairs in order at all times for the sake of your family.
