Well, just further evidence that Saddam did have weapons of mass destruction (other than the Democrats) and he was connected to Al Qaeda. But do you think that even the Administration will acknowledge this? No, becasue they have no backbone.

Every time I see a thread with this type of headline, I click on with trembling fingers and bated breath.
Then I see it's from NewsMax..........

The explosive evidence was discovered among "millions of pages of documents" unearthed by the Iraq Survey Group weapons search team, reports the Weekly Standard's Stephen Hayes. In the magazine's Nov. 21 issue, Hayes reveals that the document cache now being examined contains "a thick stew of reports and findings from a variety of [Iraqi] intelligence agencies and military units." I don't see the article on their website.

I'm not holding my breath on this stuff. Far too many can't misses slithered away into the sand during the Iraq invasion.
It's good news, and if it holds weight, all the better.
To: MinuteGal
yeah... NewsMax's credibility is only slightly less bad than those of the Alphabet News...
but IF this pans out...

You have that right. They let a prosecutor run a 2 year witch hunt over a statute that wasn't even violated. Bush is a piece of work, he falls head long into every demoncrat trap. There is a whole book out with what WMD they did find in Iraq. Yet, it is never quoted. This will not only be forgotten but will be shredded as soon as Bush finds it exists. Pubbies are all nutcases when it comes to politics.

Sounds like the end of W's Rope-a-Dope is about to begin...finally.
The Dumbocrats have whined and moaned for two years about not finding WMD and that there no links of Saddam to al Qaeda. Hoist them on the petard of Saddam's documents, I say.
I can hardly wait (he says, hoping to hell this is as good as he wants it to be)!
And then we need an accounting of who was RIGHT and who was WRONG - politicians, foreign leaders, "journalists" and bloggers, TV media, etc.

I've pretty much gotten to where I can tell the source of an article by just looking at the thread headline. I almost never miss the NewsMax ones any more.

While Liberal girlymen on the left have an orgasm just at the mention of WMDs, intelligent, level-headed people are asking, "Where are they?"

I agree with you about NEWSMAX, but common sense tells me that Saddam had these weapons and he had help in hiding them, or removing them.
I still remember the reports that Saddam personally pinned medals on several Soviet Military officials shortly before we invaded and kicked Saddam's ass

This kind of information will never see the light of day with the MSM.
To: TBP
WMD's were never the real reason for the invasion. However, it was never offered as the only reason for it either.
