Every time I see a thread with this type of headline, I click on with trembling fingers and bated breath.
Then I see it's from NewsMax..........

I've pretty much gotten to where I can tell the source of an article by just looking at the thread headline. I almost never miss the NewsMax ones any more.

I agree with you about NEWSMAX, but common sense tells me that Saddam had these weapons and he had help in hiding them, or removing them.
I still remember the reports that Saddam personally pinned medals on several Soviet Military officials shortly before we invaded and kicked Saddam's ass

Amen. Throw World Net Daily in there too.
I don't care how biased the MSM may be. If there is substance to this story, the NY Times, Washington Post or LA Times is going to break ranks and try be the first one to report it since this will be such a huge story. Then, they'll start bashing Bush all over again for his handling of the post-combat phase or question why he didn't give diplomacy another chance instead of rushing us into war.

What's your beef with NewsMax ..??
If Steven Hayes is involved and has written a report for the Weekly Standard (11/21) - it has to be legit! Steven is a very smart guy and he wouldn't be selling anything phoney.

Then I see it's from NewsMax.......... Well, and Hayes has been slapped down by the Department of Defense for coming to false conclusions about the Feith memo.

Yeah, it's like when you see a story is from "DebkaFiles."

By the way, did you know that Steven Hayes was interviewed by Roger Hedgecock (subbing for Rush) on Thursday ..??
So .. you're apprehension over NewsMax was unfounded.
And .. Steven Hayes article is running in the National Review.
