CMS ~ Going Away Party ~

 

 

As many of you know, we have Active Duty Canteeners. Most of you have had the opportunity to interact with them.

Today we begin a *Going Away Party* for The Canteen Little Brother. CMS is leaving for Iraq again. The picture you see above is of CMS during his last *desert vacation*.

Please help us in the Canteen send off one of our own in style.
Thank you for everything CMS! Thank you for your service to America. We'll be here whenever you need us. Don't forget.

And don't forget to send an address our way. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Just as the rest of our Active duty are.

We'll throw a huge party when you return! You can bank on that!

CMS - I retired after 22 years in the Army. After Desert Storm, I thought we were the baddest ass Army there ever was. Well, when you get over there, you tell them that this old Chief Warrant Officer says that the Army, Marines, Air Force and Navy that we have RIGHT NOW is the baddest ass military I've ever seen. You young guys rock and me and my wife are backing you guys all the way. Be safe and we'll be here when you get home. Take care!

Operation Seasons Greetings
 

The FReeper Canteen/Proud Patriots, Inc are proud to present *Operation Seasons Greetings* again this year.

Operation Seasons Greetings is an effort to ensure that our military Troops receive the holiday cheer they deserve from back home.

If you are interested in helping, here's what you can do:

1. Get your local schools involved. It might be short notice, but all items must be to Proud Patriots by November 28th at the latest.

2. Get your churches involved with gathering items to send to our Troops.

3. Get your children involved. Have them draw pictures.

4. Send Christmas cards or regular Holiday greetings cards. Help to ensure that all of our Troops get a holiday message. How do you do that? Go to the Dollar Store (or whatever store you shop at) and buy the boxed greeting cards. Sign them and then mail them off to Proud Patriots.

5. Donate for shipping!

You can join one of the teams:

Team Red -> AZAmericonnie
Team Blue -> StarCMC
Team Purple -> radu
Team Orange -> MoJo2001

You can help one of the teams and coordinating efforts with the team leader you choose to join.

Being retired military, I watch these young guys and gals and I just can't believe how impressed I with them. THEY are awesome. They are America!
