Is the president waiting until he has all of his enemies publicly speaking about the lack of WMD so that he can put this in their faces?
That sounds like a clever move.
The president is fighting a war, perhaps his agenda is more about that and protecting the troops and not tipping their hand to the enemy about what they know, as opposed to swatting liberal fleas off his hindquarters.
Eventually it will all come out in the wash.

One does have to wonder why W has sat there and taken all of this abuse for so very, very long. Coupled with Rummy's presser where he shaded any agreement with the Rats about WMDs, we may be seeing a rope a dope of historic proportions...
He has a magnificent ability to allow others less ethical and moral to eat their own before going in for the kill, as it were.
His patience is amazing. (And frustrating for those of us who want to see the likes of durbin, hitlery, kerry, kennedy, rockefeller, carter, oralsexbilly, etc. slapped down and humilitated hard.
Our President is just so, well, GROWN-UP! He makes the whole pack of liberal democrats look as stupid as they really are, simply by allowing them to bury themselves....surely our President has learned that nothing is more effective than using an enemy's own words against him or her....and NOBODY does it better than President Bush.
