CHICAGO, Nov. 16 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Earlier today, the Federal Election Commission returned organizational documents to Draft Rudy Giuliani for President, Inc., making the campaign the first and only federal committee formed with the sole purpose of encouraging former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani to run for President of the United States in 2008.
"This is the beginning of a nationwide effort to show Mayor Giuliani the tremendous support that exists throughout the United States for a Giuliani presidential candidacy," said Allen Fore, a veteran Republican political consultant and co-founder of Draft Rudy Giuliani for President. Recent polls -- including a survey released on November 12 by Rasmussen Reports, indicate that Giuliani is currently the favorite presidential candidate among Republican voters, leading both Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Senator John McCain.

No thanks people. I have a feeling Rupert Murdoch or the Main Street Partnership are behind this. Giuliani has alot of wealthy backers who want to take the party to the Left on several issues.
I love Giuliani, but I don't think he's a good candidate for President - not on the GOP line, at least. He's a) pro-abortion, b) pro-homosexual, and c) pro-illegal alien, all unacceptable positions for the GOP party leader.
