I must disagree with Rush on this one. Harkin is not a dung heap. He's more of a steaming turd.....

"These dems are so childish and petty! None of them have a sense of humor."
SO TRUE! I expect one of them to start crying on the floor of the Senate (ala RINOvitch), "Those mean Republicans are calling me names!" BOO-HOO-HOO!!

Well, I certainly will dry to refrain from calling him "Dung Heap" Harkin.
From here on I'll just call him "The Dunger".

The Adopt a Soldier program I heard mentioned but, near as I could tell, based on the description given by the guest host the other day, was that soldiers would sign up and listeners would purchase a 24/7 subscription to be donated to each soldier? Is that what I really heard?

Unfortunately, when liberals lambaste the conservative media, most of the sheeple do not realize they are just entertainers and represent no official position. Comprehending the absurdity of elected officials giving a rats behind about what an entertainer thinks makes those elected officials seem petty and small.
Taking the bait as it were..

Know what? I fall for this every time. The Democrats start firing off accusations that prove their own hypocrisy, and I'm surprised! Every time! I'm surprised every time that they lie with a straight face.
I think it was Rush that said that to Democrats, history started this morning. It doesn't matter what they said before, it doesn't matter what went before, or what their opponent said before. Democrats will say what is politically expedient today and will be very indignant if their previous words, actions or statements are used to show their own hypocrisy.
Their views "evolved". What they said or did before, doesn't matter.

They should have a survey for the troops and ask them, "Which show would you prefer to be broadcast on AFRTS, Rush Limbaugh or Al Franken"?
Tough one, huh?

Whats dung heaps problem?
....From his statement, he believes Rush "is on all week" (24/7). Gee, is this ahole really that far out of touch or is it a prerequisite to be stupid in order to be a Senator?

Limbaugh should stop insulting dung heaps. Dung is good fertilizer. OK, Harkin might be good fertilizer if sprinkled lightly over a wide area but this has not been demonstrated.

wasn't Harkin the guy that talked about his air combat when he wasn't involved in combat? He claimed to be a Combat Veteran when the closest he was to combat was Japan.
To: LadyBuzz
For Harkin - wouldn't DUNG HEAP actually be a compliment? But why be so mean to Dung Heaps??

I offer an apology from every conservative in the great state of Iowa for our state sending "Comrade" Tom Harkin to the United States Senate.
He truly represents the worst of human nature.

That would make her a Dungheapaphobe. This bigotry has got to stop!

Al Franken? Haven't they suffered enough? Is this the Left and "Dung-Heap" riding to the rescue of Air America?
The network is BEGGING for donations, and involved in scamming charities...so what better thing to do than give them a nice fat Gub'Mint contract that requires no bid, and is all gravy for the Left!
Gee, Limbaugh wasn't an offered choice, and the Military's own members WROTE him in...why isn't there the same "Grass (smoking) Roots effort for "Err America"?
Or is the Left just that bankrupt, and this is merely an admission that they have NO ability to compete in the arena of ideas?
I bet if you scratched the surface, you'd see communiques from Err America to the Left-wing kooks screaming to be given Gub'Mint largesse!
