WALLACE: But you voted, sir, and aren't you responsible for your vote?
ROCKEFELLER: No. I'm...
WALLACE: You're not?
ROCKEFELLER: No. I'm responsible for my vote, but I'd appreciate it if you'd get serious about this subject, with all due respect. We authorized him to continue working with the United Nations, and then if that failed, authorized him to use force to enforce the sanctions.
What a liar...and a spinner...Jay is a disgrace and traitor....
We must teach America about checks and balances and how the constitution vests the power to declare and finance war in the Congress. Not a bad idea, also, to say that the War Powers Act underlined that after Vietnam. Then just list all of the times we woke up to the news that America was bombing some people we had never heard about during the Clinton admin. The contrast in democratic process is very great.
What a piece of garbage. I would expect better from WVa than Byrd and Rockefeller.
