Congresspersons cannot be impeached.

I know. I know.

My question is IF Treason procedures work like Impeachment procedures do.

Do you know the answer to my question?

Treason is a whole different ballgame. I believe it takes witnesses and overt acts. Who was the dude who was tried for treason during the Revolutionary war?

I believe it was the two guards that stopped him and made him take off his boots, revealing the "plan" on paper was the convincing argument for treason. Washington WOULD NOT give him clemency.

Treason is a federal crime, covered in Article III, Section 3 of the USC. No one would accuse him of this. Only the Senate can discipline him. Or the voters could possibly recall him, depending on WVA state law...
