It is reported, that on Tuesday, November 15, 2005, the California legislature will vote to secede from the Union.

If only it were true...then I could lead a squad to lay siege on Sacramento and take the city by storm.

Resistance would be light to nonexistent. After all, the Democrats ain't got guns.

Nope. My ancestors and their fellow statesmen weren't allowed to leave, no one else will be. They can go down with the ship of a dead Republic like the rest of us unfortunate souls. < /mad rant>

If only it were true. It's good to hear secession entering back, albeit very slowly, into the realm of viable options as was intended by the Framers
