Isn't Toulouse also the place where the Airbus Industrie is located and the final assembly place for its widebodies? (The A32X series are assembled in Hamburg in Germany) If riots spread there, there could be ramifications for France's economy.

I just few twice today on Northwest airlines, they are Airbuses, it says the aircraft was made in GErmany, the final, not sure where the airframe is made before getting shipped to Germany
Correct. The Airbus "campus" is right outside of Toulouse, as is the factory for the A340s and A380s.
That's in a bedroom community near Toulouse, called Colomiers, if I remember correctly.
I lived in Toulouse 20 years ago and I have to admit that I could see this day coming. I worked there as a Mormon missionary for two years. The French treated the immigrants (Algerians, Moroccans, etc.) like dirt. I worked in the areas that housed these immigrants for several months. These folks were always friendly and offered us food and drink. (Believe it or not, Islam taught them to be kind, benevolent, and hospitable to strangers.) There were some Iranians that threatened us once, but that was around the time Reagan was about to get inaugurated and they were scared to death of him.
The French just packed these folks into high rise ghettos in areas around the Mirail and another area called the Bagatelle. I don't know if that's where the rioting is occurring, but that would be my guess. That's where the critical mass of these immigrants live.
The French also hate Israel and the Jews. Their supposed love for the Arafat and the Palestinians doesn't stem from any affection for Arabs and Muslims as much as it does a deep hatred of all things Jewish. They also despise Africans, regarding them as little more than "cannibals."
My French students were asking me the other day when I thought this would stop and they looked at me dumbfounded when I told them I didn't think it was going to. I explained that you can't neglect a problem for 30 years (or longer) and expect it to go away overnight. It'll take a generation for the French to address this and, if past performance is any indication of future potential, they'll end up collapsing their government and becoming an Islamic republic.
