Good article, but i don't think that it's concise. Muslims in the U.S. are integrating at a much more rapid pace and you see more secularism in the Muslims who are Americans than those in Europe where they're mostly poor and unedcuated.

Here there's a local Muslim Republican running for office and his platform is as conservative as can get.

This is true. I have a Catholic friend who's been swapping protein with a Muslim girl for about 8 months now. She even goes to church with him now.

"Listen, all you middle of the road moderate Muslims here in America. You had better start condemning terrorism. Not turning the other way, not ignoring it, and certainly not making excuses for it along the lines of "Sure, terrorism is bad, but..."

You do this at your own peril. Because while most Americans are willing to say that there are good Muslims, if it comes to a large scale smallpox expidemic or a dirty nuke that can be traced to Al Queda, those very same reasonable Americans, the ones who give you the benefit of the doubt right now, are probably going to be willing to vote very quickly for containment camps for all of you.
