Agreed. The fight is constant and unending. One little win and some on our side say thanks then stop. We can't do that. We have to continue repeating these things over and over to make our points.

AR Governor Mike Huckabee did a great job this morning in countering Richardson. We need more of that.

Snipped from Wikipedia:

Howard Dean

Personal background:

Dean was born in New York City, New York to Andrée Belden Maitland, an art appraiser, and Howard Brush Dean, Jr. (deceased), a former corporate executive. As a child of a wealthy and prominent New York family, he spent much of his time growing up in The Hamptons. Upon graduating from St. George's School, an exclusive prep school outside Newport, Rhode Island, Dean enrolled at Yale University, where he was apparently known as something of a party animal and was not particularly political, though some have taken note of his request, as a freshman, to room with an African-American. There he was admitted to the Zeta Psi fraternity, and graduated in 1971. Though now eligible to be conscripted into the military, he received a draft deferment for an unfused vertebra. He spent the next year, according to Time (Aug. 11, 2003), "skiing and bumming around. ... He hit the slopes, tried pot, washed dishes, poured concrete and drank impressive amounts of beer."

Wikipedia

Hmmmm, reminds me of the line from 'Tommy Boy':

"Let's say the average person uses ten percent of their brain. How much do you use? One and a half percent. The rest is clogged with malted hops and bong resin."

But we're nobody to her .. and I believe she's trying to say that the Bush admin didn't do anything to prove her wrong.

2-5 inches of snow? Whereabouts in MN

That is the current weather report for Monday for Central/Northern MN. I will in the Twin Cities so I am just getting a lot of win and rain. Sure feels like it is on the way. Lot more wintery today then just about any time so far this fall.

Troops will come home. We want them home, Iraq wants us out, too.

It is how and when we want them home and why the Iraqis want us out. They will come home when we finish the mission with honor and the Iraqis no longer need us. Anything less is a defeat.

Not to worry too much. See all the dailies & mags. lost 1/4 to 1/3 by circulation & almost eaqually in their earnings.

Rather, Eason Jordon, Brokaw, CBS Chief, NBC chief are all out of job.

NYTimes Nicholas Christoff (who btw, wrote about Wilson first) is cleared by appeals court to being sued by Hatfill for slander & damages.

Meanwhile, NYTimes, ABC, AP are all being allowed to sued by Wen Ho Lee by appeals court for slander & damage.

Expect these media biggies end up paying millions & lose further in their earnings.

That is what was so astonishing about Dean's interview...

He came right out and said..."Democrats job right now is to STOP the Republicans, not put out an agenda"....

HOW dumb can this man be???

Wonder what they classify 1.77 tons of refined Uranium? Enough for at least 1 nuke? What about the Al Qeda base camp the SF overran east of Monsul in the 2003 Iraq Liberation? But that is right, the media template is dicatated by the DNC, NOT reality.

Does anybody know what he's talking about

He's lying. The dems have seen the little lies and their repetition starting to work and the lies will get bigger and more atrocious as we head into the 2006 elections.

That is exactly what Gov. Huckabee said to Wallace after Wallace had asked Richardson what a Democrat has to do to win.

I'd rather have it be old news than NOT known news.

Agreed. I found it interesting that Limbaugh didn't connect his discussions of a year and a half ago (Specter campaign supposedly aided by Soros activity) with oppoistion to ANWR supposedly being organized by the same groups.

Also notice how they are quick to point to President Bush's integrity about this so called mistake, yet never question the UN's motives? You have $100B scandal and not one person has the courage to ask if the UN inspectors and spokesmen were bought off??

Exactly! I really am astonished by their unabashed lying. THis is not politics anymore...this is saying whatever you can to hurt someone so you can gain ground. I have yet to see with all this piling on by the MSM if this actually helps the Dems. So they won an off year election in a couple of places that only had 30% turnout.

They overall point about the war is actually moot. They are on record as supporting the action. Then they give a standing ovation to an Iraqi woman at the SOTU address to show solidarity...the press has tearing reporters at Iraqi elections wailing how wonderful it is for these people....and now they scream were lied to and should not have gone to war?

Again it's the confused teenager syndrome!!!!!

Gov. Bill Richardson now on "local 10 in miami" doing an interview show. Now blasting our local electric company for rate increase request. I guess this will be the ticket hitlery/Richardson, die may be cast.

If this is a charity event...why isn't Clinton paying for his own travel and entourage?

This exposes the influence Tom DeLay used in the House along with a lack of more leadership coming from the White House.

I actually expect this whole discussion will be moot in the long run. There will be other things that will knock it off the radar screen.

In my opinion, it will backfire. Just what progress (I cringe at using that word in this context)can they claim? If things are so bad for the Right, what can the Left point to in 2006? A low GDP? High Unemployment? Especially if the likes of Pelosi, Hillary and Dean are the deliverers of the message, people are just turned off by them. The Dems constant negativity is already their most identifiable trait, if they keep it up for the next year, Im certain it will backfire..
