Anyone know the virginia election laws?
From what I have read is McDonnell's lead is shrinking because of late absentee ballots from out of state college kids.
Anyone know how many provisional ballots were cast and how long the canvassing is going to last. How many absentee ballots are left to cast? They certify the result on november 28 then you get to ask for a recount if it is under 1 percent which it will be.
It always seems in these elections that the dem gains after the election because of mistakes by dem poll workers in dem precincts. Conservative precincts never seem to have any trouble.
Deeds was down by 4,000 and now it's down to 400 and they are still canvassing and then the recount. McDonnell would make a great AG hope he can miraculously hold on to the lead.

Close race eh?
Demo's will continue to cheat then.
The "canvassing" will continue until the Dems have enough new "votes" to steal the election. They will then call on the Republican candidate to stop the unnecessary delays and concede.
See: Washington State, also Florida
The NRA endorsed the democrat (Deeds) giving him an "A" with the republican McDonnell getting a B+. If McDonnel loses no major loss IMHO.
Deeds is pro illegals, pro qoutas for affirmative action, weak on sexual predators.
McDonnel is pro second amendment and great on the other issues.
Deeds and Kerry are good friends. Deeds is a kerry clone except for the second amendment. Deeds is an enviornmental nut too that will be enforce laws like the liberal he is.
'Rat Attorneys-General AID and ABET crimes of the 'Rat party and their elected officials. It IS a major loss.
Well, it was shortly after Halloween and we can't be sure how many people rose from the dead to get out and vote.
"§ 24.2-802. Procedure for recount... The eligibility of any voter to have voted shall not be an issue in a recount...
The recount proceeding shall be final and not subject to appeal.
...
§ 24.2-804. Contest of elections of Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General.
In any election for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, or Attorney General, notice of the intent to contest the election shall be filed with the Clerk of the House of Delegates as prescribed in § 24.2-803. The provisions of § 24.2-803 shall govern standing, notice of intent to contest, answers, service of process, evidence, the petition, procedures, and relief except (i) that in a contest of an election held at the November general election the petition shall be filed within two days following the commencement of a special session of the General Assembly called for the purpose of hearing the contest or of the next regular session of the General Assembly, whichever first occurs, and (ii) that the final determination shall be made by the General Assembly, both houses sitting in joint session in the hall of the House of Delegates, with the Speaker of the House of Delegates presiding. "
You know the rats are doing their damndest to manufacture votes.
If McDonnell loses, the Democrats get a high-profile gubernatorial candidate for 2009.

Interesting erosion. Look for hand recounts, maybe.
I'm stunned at how close this was to begin with, given what an unknown Deeds was.
Also, one of the things being looked into was that some of the new electronic machines in the Roanoke area were showing people voted for McDonnell when they had actually voted for Deeds. Some called the problem to the attention of poll workers at the time, but we can only hope there weren't more that didn't.
Too bad he wasn't as "pro-second Amendment" as the democrat.....he might have won. Republicans should take note.
The "canvassing" will continue until the Dems have enough new "votes" to steal the election.
AMEN to that....
Looks like Deja Vu in Oregon Governor's race in 2004.
BTW....Have you signed this petition yet?

Only 400 votes apart. The Dems are pros. They can steal 400 more votes in their sleep. Might as well hand the crooks the seat.
