A rino is a democrat. They are democrats that have invaded our party to make us look weak and incompetent.

Rino's should be defeated more than democrats because having infiltrators in your own party is a disaster. The american people think republicans have a majority and should be getting things done. The problem is that we don't have a majority. So we look incompetent and weak. Get the rinos out and be united and strong.

Instead of getting rid of opponents of ANWR, how about getting rid of any Repub that takes money from the Commie ,Soros.

Jim Gerlack almost did not make it the last election. It was really close. I emailed committee people and proposed they seek someone that will help President GW Bush. His election is in no way safe.

Exactly right. If W and the Pubbies take any message from this election it should be that the current majority party in Congress has betrayed its base, and the base won't support them unless they are given a reason why they should. Taking money from Soros, voting against drilling in ANWR, handing over more money and privileges to illegal aliens, harassing businessmen making a profit despite all kinds of government hinderance, while the government takes 3x (45 cents/gal)the average oil company profit (15 cents/gal), etc., etc. is NOT the way to persuade conservatives to pull the lever for any candidate with an 'R' next to their name.

There's two of us! Perhaps many more before the '06 elections. ;)

You can bet these northeastern MoC soon will be crying the blues soon about the scarcity and high cost of home heating oil this winter

Charles Bass, New Hampshire, 2nd; 20%

Sherwood Boehlert, New York; 24th; 23%

Jeb Bradley, New Hampshire; 1rst; 26%

Nancy Johnson, Connecticut; 5th; 22%

Sue Kelly, New York; 19th; 34%

Christopher Shays, Connecticut; 4rth; 4%

Robert Simmons, Connecticut; 2nd; 8%

James Walsh, New York; 25th; 80% (really)

Think they'll ever get the connection? Nah.

Yes, much better to get a conservative because most people - even here on FR apparently - forget that it isn't just the votes of a particular representative but which party he/she caucuses with.

If the dims get a majority because we're punishing the RINOs they will then head up all the committees and make up a majority on those committees. Think that's not important? That's what decides what gets debated, voted on etc. There will then be endless special investigators etc. to saturate the news cycles ensuring a GOP loss of the WH in 2008.

... Better to replace a Republican with a Republican then cut off your nose to spite your face by electing a Democrat." Were the RINO's dumped out of office, (even 4, or 5 of them ) because the Republican voter voted Democrat, the next election there would be a "Conservative" running to replace that Rat.

I guess the (I) stands for Irrelevant since that is ALL your 100%erism gets you. Have fun spending your lives as an angry irrelevant political minority completely insignificant to the process.

An assumption on your part not at all verifiable with any observable data. Dumping the Republican is almost a sure way to make sure your seat stays in Dems hands for 20-30 years. Seats very rarely turn over. The power of incumbency is almost impossible to over turn between parties. Getting even a few seats to switch would almost guarantee a Dem majority for decades. Nice try but you exposed yourself there as a pretend "Conservative".

The way you prefer, would simply be business as usual, with the RINO's still in place resulting in a neutered major

Well then you are not really interested in the Conservative Agenda and really are just interested in firing Republicans. As I pointed out in my message which you ignored because what you really want is to put Dems back in charge, is the wisdom of mounting a Conservative Republican Primary challenger to the RINOS.

Nice try but you totally have blown you cover there. As I pointed out, here in Minnesota we have had very good success about retiring old state level RINOS with Conservatives by mounting Primary challenges.

So who do you Really work for Mr "fire the Republicans cause I want to put the Dems in change" DNC? Moveon.org? Answer?

Sorry but YOUR side is far far far worse. Better to have the Rinos they your clowns in charge EVER again.

Kind of obvious G.Mason is more interested in putting the Dems back in charge then moving the Conservative Agenda forward. "Better to vote for Dems" got to be stuck on stupid to argue that HERE!

It would be nice to see them lose in a primary rather than a general.

Good idea. That way we don't have to give up a congressional seat to get them out of power.

Get rid of them all, kick um out, and then rebuild.

Lets start a collection to pay for there DNC membership, I am so tired on nothing getting done.

That goes for the gang of 7 in the Senate.

I'd rather face the enemy I can see than one I can't.

Of course each should do what he/she can NOW. contact the rep and write letters to the editor. Then, what would you think about creating a no gasoline region of the country and see how long they hold these unrealistic positions. It is a state's rights issue to me that NE states that developed their resources as they chose want to tell Alaska that it cannot.

You can donate money to the campaigns of conservtive primary challengers through the Club for Growth, I do almost all my political donations this way now, nothing for the sleazy weasels at RNC or associated organs.

How many of THESE could there possibly be?

This group doesn't want the US to be energy independent. This group believes that we can save energy through conservation. This means that you must keep your thermostat at 65 in the winter and 85 in the summer.

They need strong primary challenges from true conservatives.
If conservatives nationalized a intra-party campaign against them starting right now we could at least get some decent votes out of them until the primary.

I would rather that everyone mass e-mail their state party leadership about how pissed-off the base is about the RINO's.
Don't forget the national leadership.

I'm not going to set at a keyboard and bitch about my party to people that agree, but can't do anything about it.

The party leadership wont change if we don't personally let them know we are a solid conservative base, and wont donate to, or work to elect RINO's.

The Meiers nomination angered the base, but rather than bitching at a monitor, people expressed their views to the leadership.

Thats what we need to do now, bitch personally and privately to the party leadership. I'm not going to give the MSM more ammo to print that the Republican party is split and falling apart.

Just my opinion.

Reichert has no convictions. He is all over the place on his votes. He is a male version of Sandra Day O'Connor.

I'm in the 24th with ole "Sherry" Sherwood Boehlert, New York. He has been challenged the last several times with good Conservative candidates but his district keeps expanding due to the rapid loss of population (and job loss) in Central NY. It bleeds into more liberal areas of the state. Central NY is a Conservative area but we can't muster the needed votes to get him out. His war-chest is huge and nobody seems to ask why. He and his buddies just out add any competition.
Maybe a national effort might help but we just can't seem to dump him. ; ; 23%
