Whatever. The only thing that angers me about this thread is the jump to the conclusion that the Mother wants her daughter dead. There's nothing in this article to support that claim. It's just the nuts here who read death into everything.
What I find curious is anybody claiming this is for the "gal". This "law" business has come down to making theft legal.
Jesus Christ is also a man. He's involved and per the plan of God the Father. Ergo, just because a man is involved doesn't entail God's plan isn't involved.
It would be impossible to make a better argument for tort reform than to suggest that liberals like you get to be on juries!
Do not dare call me a liberal.
I'd be happy to not call you a liberal, just stop making liberal statements like the ones you posted on this thread.
Can she be countersued for her existence?
Think about what the Mother's message to her daughter is by doing this: I wish you didn't exist. And of course, the daughter will go along with it to win the Mother's approval.
If the daughter's capacity to think is not affected by her mental impairment, I would say, yes, she would probably want to comply with her mother's wishes that dying is preferable than living under her circumstances. Whether the mother has influenced her daughter to the point of abject worthlessness, and the daughter has filed this lawsuit -which I seriously doubt- or, whether the mother filed it under her daughter's name -which I believe is the case- I find it totally reprehensible and absolutely heartless.
