Bruce Willis Offers Million Dollar Bounty for Osama or Zarqawi (2005)
National Ledger ^ | November 12 2005 | CK Rairden

Posted on 11/11/2005 11:07:22 PM PST by jmc1969

A report to be published Saturday says that Demi Moore's ex will pony up a million cash to any civilian who turns in the terrorist scum.

Bruce Willis is such a die-hard patriot that he's offering $1 million to any civilian who turns in terror kingpins Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri or Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. The hairless Hollywood he-man announced his bounty offer on MSNBC's "Rita Cosby: Live and Direct" this week.

Willis also revealed he was in talks to make a movie about the Deuce Four, the soldiers whose heroic exploits have been chronicled by embedded blogger Michael Yon.

Willis complained about media coverage of the war:

"I am baffled to understand why the things that I saw happening in Iraq, really good things happening in Iraq, are not being reported on."

"I am baffled to understand why the things that I saw happening in Iraq, really good things happening in Iraq, are not being reported on."

Whereas the odious and pompous Tim Robbins was on some vapid entertainment program last night, where, encourged by the smarmy and vaguely fey host, he slammed the war, and Bush.

Hm. Last I checked, I was brotherless. So, odds are, there are at least two people out there that liked Hudson Hawk.

Ask your brother if he remembers any of the scenes with the following lines-

"Ceasar! Antony! (ambulance explodes) Are you okay!?"

"Gates tries to blackmail me, you ask me "Did I miss anything." Gates gets killed, you say "Did I miss anything." I bet you went up to Mrs. Lincoln at the Ford Theatre and said "How was the show? Did I miss anything?"

"Bunny,..ball-ball"

"Bunny, you weren't that bad. Just two more minutes!"

"The Vatican, robbing the freakin' Vatican. The nuns at St. Agnus predicted this."

"The Vatican has spoiled the advances of pirates and terrorists. We will not lie down for some schmuck from New Jersey!"

"Rome - I had my first bare-handed strangulation here. Communist politian. God, I miss Communism! The Red Threat? People were scared, the agency had respect, and I got laid every night."

I've heard he offered a million for Saddam Hussein, too. Is that true and did he pay off after Saddam was caught?

Yes it's true and no he didn't pay.

I notice he's put the word 'civilian' in his latest offer.

Glad you have the time to follow the movies like that . I would have though that liberal Hollywood would have blacklisted anyone who goes against their Socialist politics by now.

Just goes to show that their "socialism" is a sham. Mr Willis gets work because Mr Willis gets the public's butts into the theater seats, regardless of his political views.

Besides, anyone who has millions of dollars in the bank, a private plane, houses in Malibu, Aspen, and Florence (Italy), and claims to be a Socialist is FULL OF $#!+. If they were true to their self-proclaimed principles, they would sell all their toys and land, and give everything but what they need to survive to the poor (whom they so loudly claim to champion).

I'd love to see Penn & Teller do an episode of "Bulls**t" about the Limousine Left.

Sin City is fun, but definately not for the kiddies. The scene between Rutger Hauer, Mickey Rourke and [the head of] Elijah Wood is a classic. Very creepy...

"I am baffled to understand why the things that I saw happening in Iraq, really good things happening in Iraq, are not being reported on."

You are a good man, Bruce Willis. I enjoy his movies and that TV sitcom he starred in a while back.

The reason some are baffled is because the reporters who are supposed to report facts, are instead reporting their fantasies.

I just wonder though, if Mrs. Clinton should win the office of the presidency, and as of that time we are still engaged in an enormously critical and vital war against the headcutters, homicidal suicidal terrorists, and whatever other demon terrorist group that is out there, how will the reporters report on her efforts to combat terrorism? Or should I even wonder. To a reporter, she's first and foremost a democrat. Secondly, she is a socialist. Thirdly, she can beat the ChiComs on propaganda, they admit it. Fourthly, she's a woman CIC, like the TV show. So she in their opinion is their ultimate fantasy.

Heard Sin City is good if you are a fan of comic books

It seems to be an exception rendering of the comic book in live action.

However, the slavish devotion to that end makes the film unwatchable for more than 5 minutes at a time.

Sadly, our military men and women can't accept rewards for doing their jobs. :( Which is sad, they don't get paid near enough for the job they do.

Bruce Willis has had some major "rough knocks" education in Hollywood. When he started, he was very out spoken and liberal(Moonlighting days). He made some very regretable comments about the working union production crews in Hollywood making "too much money"(Speilberg's 'Hook' days.) From that mistake, he was replaced in the film and lost the blue collar working man vote around movie sets. Then there was his Planet Hollywood experience. He has either matured and learned his lesson to the point he is a Hollywood conservative. He is liked by the movie crews now.
I wish there were more like him, they are needed.
