Today the President spoke to a group of Veterans at the Tobyhanna Army Depot in Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania where he discussed the War on Terror and counter the useless lying democrats who have been very busy doing all they can to undermine the War, The President and our National Security. The Former Amphibious Automobile crash test dummy, Ted Kennedy, was quick to release a statement condemning the President for speaking out against them on Veterans Day. White House Press Secretary, Scott McClellan, responded to the fat Drunk from Massachusetts with this statement:
"It is regrettable that Senator Kennedy has chosen Veteran's Day to continue leveling baseless and false attacks that send the wrong signal to our troops and our enemy during a time of war. It is also regrettable that Senator Kennedy has found more time to say negative things about President Bush then he ever did about Saddam Hussein. If America were to follow Senator Kennedy's foreign policy, Saddam Hussein would not only still be in power, he would be oppressing and occupying Kuwait."
Two thumbs up for the President and Scott McClellan
Thanks for your hard work today, Mike.
THANK YOU, VETERANS!
Thinks for existing...truly sanity Island. I haven't been here for a while...pleased to meet you both.
I'm fighting mad about all this garbage I'm hearing regarding President Bush...and I'm sick of hearing about polls!
I'm glad he spoke up today.
All the more reason to ignore the polls.
I don't believe the polls anymore and it's made me a much happier person :) And I'm glad he spoke up too.
LOL. Couldn't have said it better myself.
Your very welcome
A very powerful speech today. Thanks for the thread and ping. :)
am also quite pleased with Scott McClellan's shot across the bow to Kennedy! Ha!
I missed that. What did he say?
Vice President Dick Cheney and wife Lynne arrive for a performance after a dinner to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities, in the East Room of the White House, November 10, 2005. The NEA and NEH support research, education and public programs for the arts and humanities
And from Arlington today
Thank you Mike. I appreciate your service!!!
Hello mystery. :) I am glad you are doing a little better.
It's in the headline of today's "Dose"
WOw! I just read your header and saw what McClellan said. All I can say is "ATTA boy!" I am sick and tired of Kennedy and his ilk constantly running off at the mouth. Especially Kennedy. How dare he? The murderer.
That last picture is good enough for a toaster! ;)
Go Scott! I want to hear the Dems ask (scream actually) "Who Let the Dogs Out"? by tomorrow noon LOL
Great opening, Mike!!! You're on fire ... thanks for the super Dose and the laser-focused commentary.

Thanks. My screen keeps skipping for some reason and I passed that part of the thread. I went back and read it. I am glad McClellan said that and I am glad you posted it.
Yes! We need to play offensively and defensively. If they do they will get a groundswell of support.
Hi STARWISE
How's everything? Today is a good day to smile, isn't it? :-D

I wanted to share somthing with you guys...I know a lot of y'all believe in God.
I'm one who believes God answers prayers. One way God speaks to me is through His word. Many times I have asked God a direct question, and a chapter and verse of the Bible will pop into my head. I don't know what it says before I turn to it...I hardly have the Bible memorized by verse and chapter!
I was praying about the whole Libby affair, and for the President and his administration, and God gave me Psalms 17:1
When I turned to it, it said:
"Hear O Lord, my righteous plea:
listen to my cry
"Give ear to my prayer-
it does not rise from deceitful lips"
The next day, my prayer partner, who is on mission to this country from India, presented me with Isaiah 8...in fact she had almost called me the night before to share it.
Isaiah 8:11 says:
"The Lord spoke to me with His strong hand upon me warning me not to follow the way of this people. He said:
"Do not call conspiracy
everything that these people call conspiracy,
Do not fear what they fear,
and do not dread it
The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy,
He is the one you are to fear,
He is the one you are to dread.
And He will be a sanctuary."
Pretty neat, eh?
