WHITE HOUSE: Setting the Record Straight: Sen. Kennedy On Iraq
White House ^

"It is regrettable that Senator Kennedy has chosen Veteran's Day to continue leveling baseless and false attacks that send the wrong signal to our troops and our enemy during a time of war. It is also regrettable that Senator Kennedy has found more time to say negative things about President Bush then he ever did about Saddam Hussein. If America were to follow Senator Kennedy's foreign policy, Saddam Hussein would not only still be in power, he would be oppressing and occupying Kuwait."
- Scott McClellan, White House Press Secretary
Sen. Kennedy On Iraq
Sen. Kennedy Said Saddam Hussein Was Developing WMDs: "We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." (Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA), Remarks At The Johns Hopkins School Of Advanced International Studies, Washington, D.C., 9/27/02)
Sen. Kennedy: "Saddam Hussein Is A Dangerous Figure. He's Got Dangerous Weapons." (CBS' "Face The Nation," 10/6/02)
Sen. Kennedy Now Says The President Manipulated Facts About Iraq's WMDs: "'Instead of providing open and honest answers about how we will achieve success in Iraq and allow our troops to begin to come home,' Kennedy said, 'the president reverted to the same manipulation of facts to justify a war we never should have fought.'" (Deb Riechmann, "Bush Forcefully Attacks Critics Of The War In Iraq," Associated Press, 11/11/05)
Sen. Kennedy Opposed Removing Saddam Hussein From Kuwait. (S.J.Res.2, CQ Vote #2: Adopted 52-47: R 42-2; D 10-45, 1/12/91, Kennedy Voted Nay)
Sen. Kennedy Opposed Removing Saddam Hussein From Power. (H. J. Res. 114, CQ Vote #237: Passed 77-23: R 48- 1; D 29-21; I 0-1, 10/11/02, Kennedy Voted Nay)

Worse part is that Kennedy does not believe what he is saying. I wouldn't be so sure about that.
Senator Kennedy is a member of a prominent political cabal representing some of the most cowardly, destructive, and selfish people ever to darken our national discourse. It pains me to write Senator in front of his name because he is so utterly undeserving of that honorable title. What Kennedy and his ilk have become in this country bears no resemblance to the term "loyal opposition". They are the enemy within and should be treated as such.

I just lifted your posting and pasted it over on ATRW. This should be featured as a full-page ad in the USA Today and other such publications.

The White House awaited counter offensive against the traitors in the democrat party and their media whores has begun. It is about time. Let's rollIt's a good start, albeit about a year late. Now, if the WH can keep it up for about the next 360 days straight, they just might have ended up doing their jobs after all. We'll see.

I heard the Cape Cod Orca story too, for the first time on Quinn's show. It's apparently not a standard part of the Senator's bio. I think he is the least intelligent and least talented of the Kennedy brothers.
Do you listen to Quinn in Pittsburgh, or Ohio?
To: tobyhill
yeah, his polls are low anyway. might as well take the gloves off, might envigorate the base before the primaries.

Interesting and curious that the one Liberal critic who seems to be getting the most ass I mean face time is the man who has little credibility and is often the butt of political jokes about corousing, lechery, and corruption. Even on the left, the Swimmer is the flip side of the [stupid] Jack Kennedy mythology.

"It's also unfortunate that Senator Kennedy is still holding public office. "
Yeah, that guy shouldnt be in a Senate seat, he should be in a jail cell somewhere.
or how about this. He gets a Senate seat when all he gave Mary Jo was a submersed car seat.

The matter is millions poured into the state by leftist organizations, here and abroad, to keep them in office. It's not just votes that money buys.
Conservatives tend to be more ethical, and play by the rules.

This is GREAT!!! The biggest weapon against these idiot DEMS is to force feed them their own words. Those words, played over and over over would have a huge impact. I hope this is just the beginning.

I agree with your description of him, his party, and their political operatives, the MSM.
BUT, concerning Iraq, Saddam and Sons, and WMD, he knows this President did not lie, and made a judgment call that he had to make after 9/11, Kennedy knows Saddam, and knows he could not be contained.
And this disgraceful scum who calls himself a Senator also knows GW Bush as a man, and has known him for decades, he knows his father is an honorable man, and he knows VP Cheney is an honorable man.
And he damn well knows this President would never lie and take our guys to war without reason.
The bastard knows it, and does not care, his family should be ashamed.
