November 11, 2005--On Veterans Day 2005, 78% of Americans have a favorable opinion of the United States Military forces. A Rasmussen Reports survey found that just 10% have an unfavorable opinion.
Forty-eight percent (48%) of Americans consider Veterans Day one of the nation's most important holidays. Six percent (6%) say it is one of the least important while 43% place it somewhere in between.
Thirty-nine percent (39%) will do something special to commemorate Veterans Day this year. Fifty-three percent (53%) will not.
Among Veterans, 64% consider this day one of the nation's most important holidays and 61% will do something special to commemorate it.
Among those with relatives and close friends serving in Iraq, 51% will do something special to commemorate the holiday.
While President Bush has tumbled in the polls, he still retains support among America's military veterans. Sixty-percent (60%) of Veterans approve of the way the President is performing his job, including 30% who Strongly Approve.
Rasmussen Reports is an electronic publishing firm specializing in the collection, publication, and distribution of public opinion polling information.
Rasmussen Reports was the nation's most accurate polling firm during the Presidential election and the only one to project both Bush and Kerry's vote total within half a percentage point of the actual outcome.
During Election 2004, RasmussenReports.com was also the top-ranked public opinion research site on the web. We had twice as many visitors as our nearest competitor and nearly as many as all competitors combined.
Scott Rasmussen, president of Rasmussen Reports, has been an independent pollster for more than a decade.
Yes. And then deport the 10% and send them to the country of their choice. If they detest the U.S. Military so, then they should have no problem moving somewhere outside of their protection. Indonesia, or Iran, or France, or Argentina perhaps? Though maybe not france. They're largely on fire right now because of those poor misunderstood muslim "yoots" in france. One of the others though, they can also then start paying 50% taxes, and receive guaranteed government health care, that takes 10 years to get.
I actually FINALLY got polled right before the last presidential election. I was SHOCKED!
Deport the 10% to France.
I screwed with a Gallup Pollster once.
They asked for the lady of the house.
The wife was sleeping.
So I paused and spoke in a high pitched voice with a cloth over the phone.
It was when Clinton was President.
I completely fooled this nitwit for a minute or two.
Then I screamed, 'I can't stand Gallup! Get off my phone!"
They have never called again.
Hooray.
Heh heh. 8) In 16 years of being a registered voter I've never been polled, and I don't know any conservative friends and family members who have been polled. After so many years, you have to get suspicious.
Works for me. 8)
That's funny. 8)
About 100% of the Rat Senators and Congressits hate our military, our soldiers, marines, seamen, airmen and coasties.
It is time to drag that hatred out in the light of truth like we did the lies of Mapes/Blather.
4 decades of this hatred of America, our military and our military personnel and vets is enough.
Thanks for sharing these photos.
I wonder what will happen to these traitors as the rest of America wakes up to what they and the other $oro$ paid rats have been doing.
Great job, again by our role model freepers, the DC group!
Deport them to the Northeast suburbs of Paris! :-)
