A registered sex offender in Wisconsin, Kobin was convicted last year of exposing a 13-year-old girl to harmful materials by urging her, in a series of phone calls and computer messages, to drink bleach, lighter fluid and urine to arose him sexually, according to a Waukesha County criminal complaint.

Kobin was released from prison April 19 after serving a year.

I've got to assume that this is just a "holding" charge and Kobin will eventually be charged with mayhem and attempted murder at the very least. This woman's chances of survival are slim (think: murder) and even if she survives, she will be severely disabled for the rest of her life.

Sorry, Sarge. Not a chance. Ipecac just makes it worse. Also, most of the damage is done on the way down. Sodium hydroxide is a strong base. Once it contacts stomach acid, it's neutralized to some extent, depending on its concentration. But this was very concentrated indeed.

The minute that "cocktail" was on her tongue, she should have known to spit it out. If she had done that, the damage would at least have been restricted to her oral cavity. If she had also induced vomiting at that point, the acid from her stomach would have helped to neutralize the residual in her mouth.

He has the bad boy attitude that some women find irresistable. I'm not sure how that works, but I've seen it time and time again. I guess they figure someone like this would make a good mate and father because he could protect them by his crazy toughness. They just have to put up with his violence and insanity.
