Hillary Clinton came out swinging Thursday against Red China for its forced abortion policies.
Speaking in Washington at an American Bar Association symposium, Senator Clinton used her speech to urge President Bush to challenge China's "forced abortion" policy when he meets with Chinese leaders on his planned visit to Beijing next week.
Sen. Clinton described China's one-child policy as a "fundamental injustice."
The New York Sun also quoted Sen. Clinton as saying she had recently written directly to China President Hu Jintao about the abortion policy and other human rights abuses.
The paper said "in the letter, Mrs. Clinton urged President Bush to 'make clear the United States strongly opposes these abuses' - among them forced abortion and sterilization, restrictions on religious freedom, the lack of workers' rights, and the oppression of Tibet."
In her speech Mrs. Clinton also reiterated her support of Bush administration Mid-East policies, a course the Sun said will continue to put her on a collision course with her party's anti-war left if she seeks the presidency in 2008.
Someone referred to Hillary Clinton as a "political animal."
Clearly, NY senator Hillary exploits her position to gain "global" recognition and consensus. Her cultish French fans favour her for the American presidency. (The French!!!) After Hillary addressed Chinese university students, they voted Hillary's short stabbing sentences and the concise rhetoric in her speech as an ideal style for propaganda. (Strange Hillary would pander for political power in China. I need to check the content of her speech.) Communist China's students study Maoist propaganda tactics, and they know best what is a good propaganda style, I'm sure. (Not kidding...)
I believe I read recently that it's now a kinder gentler forcing. There's no more absolute ban on larger families, only a very high tax.
She sure never came out swinging on this issue when she was First Lady.............rme. Trolling for votes is right.
I'm confused, shouldn't President Bush be saying this to the Chinese? It is a sad day indeed when it falls to the likes of Hillary Clinton to lead the charge on sanctity of life issues.
I can't imagine any circumstances under which a conservative would fall for her posturing and lies.
Shrillery's got as much depth as a puddle in a parking lot -- she's transparent and pretty easy to figure out. Seems like she's trying to appeal to so-called "centrists".... but (to me) centrists don't seem to be so important any more. A lot of them just stay home on Election Day. Doesn't it seem like most voters are starting to gravitate toward a solid ideology, whether conservative or stupid (er, liberal)?
I quote the Great One (Levin): "liberalism is the ideology of the stupid"
China's forced abortion policy didn't stop Mrs. Clinton from attending a "WOMEN's Conference" in china a few years back. At the time I thought it an insult of the highest order to the little dead female infants, that a "WOMEN'S Conference" would be held in such a nation.
Hillary wants to demand of Bush what she didn't have to backbone to say several years ago. What a low class gutter tramp bitch.
At least we know which way the wind blows... Hillary has surfaced again to spout into a frigid breeze.
"Tomorrow the World" for her highness
virago Hillary Clinton.

She's just so darned cute when she gets her indignant fired up!
Looks like Ms. uber abortion has moved on from illegal immigration, to abortion in her ever changing and cynical kabuki dance.
Abortion is good for America, but bad for China
/Sarcasm OFF
She'll show up on both sides of every issue faster than John Kerry and be given a free pass by Libs and the MSM. I wonder if the press will be brave enough to tell her some sound bite doesn't 'work' and suggest something else? We might as well get ready since Bill says she'll make a splendid president, and Hollywood is pulling out all the stops with that stupid Geena Davis woman president series. We'll be buried in films, books, and tv dramas depicting republicans as monsters. They're probably already working on the list...like last time. Remember the relentless Bush bashing books, movies, interviews, etc., for the better part of a year before he was renominated?
In the primaries, if she's got contenders for the nomination, it should get interesting. She's hopeless when faced with a real opponent, but it all depends who it is. If the MSM doesn't like him, he'll be skewered no matter what.
I think you missed the point.
Hillary has FOREVER been saying "CHOICE" and now she's pretending to be MODERATE and against abortion .. it won't work. It's phoney and we know it.
Her support for presidential run is 29% - That is not good.
the msm won't like anyone with the audacity to challange the beast.
