Israel's Yitzhak Rabin Center is charging $100,000 a pop for supporters who want to bask in the aura of former and possibly future first couple Bill and Hillary Clinton, who will be attending the center's opening next week.
A fundraising letter obtained by the New York Post asks for donations to the center - saying seating will be determined "according to the size of the contribution."
"Priority, of course, will be given to the highest contributions," the letter adds.
The Clintons will seated at a 10-person table with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who apparently won't be charged for the honor. At the same table will be Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Jordan's King Abdullah.
Bill and Hill are visiting Israel this weekend for 10th-anniversary commemorations of the assassination of Rabin, the Nobel Peace Prize-winning Israeli prime minister.
Israelis are ponying up "big bucks" in an apparent effort to get as close as possible to the Clintons' table, the Post said.
Rabin Center officials, however, denied their was any explicit price tag attached to the VIP seats, saying who sits where will be determined by protocol.

Reminds me of an old joke (funny how the Clintons always do that..)
"For $100k you can sit with the Clintons at a 10-person table with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice...
For an extra $100k we'll move the Clintons to another table."

It looks like it's organized by the Rabin Center, so she probably just agreed to come to honor the 10th anniversary of Rabin's assassination and didn't necessarily know she'd have to share a table with the Arkansas grifters.......

Does the price go up if you want to sit further away? For 250K you don't have to go at all!

I guess it would be worth a 100 grand just to be within spitting distance for some people. The point of the tickets going to the highest bidder is so the Clintons can choose who will be seated. Also the point that was made about Rice not being charged was a low blow attempt to place Clinton superiority.
To: wagglebee
They would have to pay me $100k to sit with them and even then I would have to think long and hard to decide whether that was enough.

Hi Cub! This is the reason that I could never be a politician. I could not sit and yuck it up with the Clinton's for any price. They would only have to look at my face to see what scum I think they are.

If someone wants to put up the money, I will volunteer to go.
But prior to the meeting, I will eat some curry chicken from the dumpster of a Dominican diner, then a bag of oreos, half a pound of liverwurst, a jar of apple butter and drink two pots of black coffee....with an ipecac chaser.
I hope their carpet isn't white.

It would be worth a 100 grand if I could put an audio and video bug at that table. I would post it here for free of course.

You didn't know? Rice is the Bush administration's emissary, and the Clintons have been adopted by the GHWB's, so what else is new?
God bless Michael Savage!

My opinion of Secretary Rice just dropped 50 points ... why the heck does she even want to breath the same air as these criminals?Go get a copy of Walter Karp's "Indispensable Enemies".
To: wagglebee
Is it really a good idea to sit the 'toons next to Sharon and Condi?
This alone might be worth the price of admission.

"the point that was made about Rice not being charged was a low blow attempt to place Clinton superiority. " Nah, this is Newsmax- it was a nice sarcastic dig at the Clintons.
A "non-partisan" MSM article, of course, would have chided her for taking up a seat that could have been sold for $100k- to the reporter writing the article LOL!

Aw man. Hold off on the ipecac chaser until everyone else has finished eating for the best effect. That would be one sick scene. Would like to see that.
To: wagglebee
I'll give them both 1K each to STFU for a change.
To: mrsmith
Ok, I'll go with that thanks.
