Look no further at all our problems than this group. Until we kick them out kicking and screaming this party is dead.

Check out the website it will make any conservative angry.

Republican Main Street Partnership Congressional Members 109th Congress

Sen. Lincoln Chafee, Rhode Island Sen. Norm Coleman, Minnesota Sen. Susan Collins, Maine Sen. Johnny Isakson, Georgia Sen. John McCain, Arizona Sen. Lisa Murkowski, Alaska Sen. Gordon Smith, Oregon Sen. Olympia Snowe, Maine Sen. Arlen Specter, Pennsylvania Sen. Ted Stevens, Alaska

You want to look at everything that has gone wrong in the last 5 years look at this group. They are traitors to our party. After we won big in 94 the rino's got together scared that conservative agenda was gaining momentum and wanted to stop it right then and there.

This group was worried after the elections that our gains would help us pass ANWR. They call themselves republicans but hope for the defeats of conservatives and cringe at the thought of 218 conservative members in the house.

This group negotiated with the leaders of our party to get ANWR out of the deal. They are to blame. They have hijacked our party. They stop anything from getting done and make us look weak.

The Dems have dino coalition that negotiates with an outside group with their leadership. Pelosi wants to kick out Jane Harman for being a semi moderate. The dems are all together voting against the budget.

This rino group has taken away our ability to be united and has sabotaged us. America thinks we have the majority so when it nothing happens we get blamed. We don't have the majority. I'd rather be in the minority and be a loyal opposition.

This group are such traitors that Chafee is talking about fillabustering Alito.

There should be mass protests outside the offices of this group in D.C. They were the ones that got Specter elected and called Toomey extreme. We need to raise money to Toomey's group to defeat all rino candidates in primary and put this group out of business. There is a cancer in our party until we clean up the traitors in our party.

I'd rather lose to the dems than be backstabbed by these traitors. They purposefully stay republicans to get together in their group and backstab us.

The two alaska senators voted for it. They are on the list because Murkowski is pro choice but stevens has become a great party member. He has gotten more conservative over the years.

"energy pigs"

You're being satirical, right? Because why else would you want us to be more dependent on Mideast and Venezuelan oil?

With all due respect Retired, do you have any idea how long it takes to build and put into operation an oil refinery? It takes years.

So Soros is funding McCain who in turn sponsors McCain-Feingold which directly benefits Soros & Co. at moveon.org.

Something stinks in Phoenix.

From their website:

Republican Main Street Partnership is looking for personal stories of individuals or families that might benefit from increased embryonic stem-cell research. If you are willing to share your thoughts with us, please email us at stemcellstories@rmsp.org

****

While we work to get more conservative representatives and senators elected, we can use the existence of this group to call Republicans "the mainstream." It is past time of ceding that position to those who really are on the left end of the graph.

Disclaimer: I am vehemently against increasing funding for embryonic stem cell research. I just extracted that statement because their website has Stem Cell Research as one of their topic buttons.

The list looks long but we must note that more that 4 out of 5 Republican congressmen and senators do not belong.

######

Have you heard of "It's My Party Too"?

A mailer from them, IMP-PAC for short, was sent to me on a letterhead: "Governor Christie Todd Whitman." www.mypartytoo.com

From the letter: But, take it from me, the unyielding and often arrogant bullying by so-called conservatives only leads to more division.

If you are fed up with the extremism plaguing our party, please answer this rallying cry with a generous contribution.

Italics and underlining in letter

and on and on it went. It made my skin crawl.

#####

However, rationally this is a good sign and inevitable. It means that our country's political power is inside the Republican Party. The disagreements are of degree of the turn toward the right, not a disagreement about whether a politician will go with the Dems or the Rs.

We have to keep our eye on the prize and keep pushing our elected reps to the right.

Sorry there numb-nuts.

I was just responding to your other, off topic, unintelligable post. Here it is right cheer:

"Gee, I thought we were at war now. Oh, right, we really aren't. They are just like teenagers, just misunderstood. Okay, I feel better now. sarcasm sill on, I never turn it off"

Aren't you late for a Cindy Sheehan rally?

It's even more disturbing to see those Alaskan reps on the list, they are actively depriving their state of jobs and income.

"Now it's time to act like adults, stick to our promises (to leave ANWAR untouched) and stop behaving like energy pigs."

According to Sean Hannity, Jimmy Carter had ANWR converted to a national park so that it could be used to investigate drilling.

How about sticking in the eye of the Arabs? We are continually feeding our enemies money, and they take their battles straight to us.

That land was set aside as a nature preserve, at the same time we were supposed to try to become energy efficient.

I think we should drill there with alternative fuels and surplus in mind.

It seems that we ought to draw up a plan to have an alternative fuel in place at a set time, like 2015.

In the meantime, we could drill in ANWR and use some of the fuel taxes to pay for alternative fuel research, development, production and storage.

The new fuel would be able to roll off the shelf in 2015 and increase in use at a set pattern.

If could be 10% of all oil production in 2015 and becomes another 5% each year after that, we could have an entirely new fuel in thirty years.

The problem is that very few on either side of the aisle considers the possibilities of compromise.

Another great point to consider is that our armed forces will still require petroleum fuels for quite some time.

The amount of time and money it would take to convert them to alternative fuels would be more than we can bear.

ANWR drilling would serve the DOD interests very well, and in the end, we wouldn't be drilling as much fuel if they were the primary customer for petroleum fuels.

Charlie Dent, Jim Gerlach, Todd Platts, and Arlen Specter will be getting nasty grams from me today.

Curt Weldon? That's a hard one, considering Able Danger.

Sure.

Stop wasting energy.

And end population growth, by ending immigration, because we are out of resources and room.

Have you ever looked out of your window when taking an airplane ride?

Yeah.

Up and down both coasts, which are the only geographically good places to live, except they are crowded to the gills, and they keep packing in more.

As to the rest of the country: ain't nobody in flyover country because nobody wants to live there, least of all me.
