Grumbling about whether or not judges are taking away God given rights from parents is worth doing. Fighting said activist judges in order to keep them from taking additional rights away from parents is ALWAYS a good thing.
Purposefully voting away your own rights to your kids well being is utterly foolish, utterly stupid, and ultimately utterly dangerous to your children. Every parent that voted against Prop 73 should have their children taken away from them - for they obvious do not have the ultimate well being of their kids in mind... SHAME ON EVERY ONE OF THEM!

Do you know where he keeps audio of the show? I missed it.
As big of a mistake as moving the voting age to 18.
I'll bet that a great many people who voted for it have no children at all. Those people coupled with the idiot liberals with children were enough to defeat it.
Welcome to Free Republic : )
I'm shocked at the election results across the board. God forbid one of these parents wakes up little Susie, only to find out she had an abortion the day before, and bled to death in the night.
I live in CA, and I don't know what the hell is going on.
I hope someone does a breakdown of the "NO" voters on Prop 73. I am not just ready to accept that 3,475,891 parents would look at their teenaged daughters and say to themselves, "If she needs to get an abortion without my permission, that's just fine with me." Of course, looking at the map, it makes sense. The "red" votes are the "NO" votes, and the "blue" votes are the "YES" votes.
I'd love to see the voting demographic for how parents voted vs. the remainder of the voters. I suspect that of the people who voted NO, a very small % are parents.
I was wondering about the mindset of someone who would say to themselves, "I have no right to be notified when a doctor performs a medical procedure on my child". Obvious no parent would think that, would they?
80% No in San Francisco. The same town that gave away the second ammendments right to bear weapons. Amazing, truly amazing.
Oh CRIMANY!
Does this man just not realize no ones rights can be taken away? In fact, rights cannot be taken, voted, judged or legislated away by anyone... not even by executive decision!
Why?
Because they're INALIENABLE!
The LEGAL definition of inalienable is 'non transferable'.....you couldn't get rid of your rights if you WANTED to!
Anytime a legal entity attempts to convince you that they can alter or abridge your rights, it's known as a 'deprivation of rights under color of law' and it's a violation of US Code TITLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 13 > § 242.
If MORE than one legal entity attempts to do so, it's also a 'Conspiracy against rights' and illegal under US Code TITLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 13 > § 241
Sue the crap out of 'em!
Really. In San Francisco, where they are more interested in teenaged boys than teenaged girls.
Too bad Prop 77 (redistricting) did not pass. That map proves the need for it.
LOL! That's the county map, not the Congressional districts. It would be nice if the districts were anywhere close to that logical. Here's what they look like: California Congressional Districts
I was praying hard for it to pass. There were so many possibilites of removing some really really stupid people. But, it didn't pass.
It's not like anyone in San Francisco actually has children in the first place.
Read my tagline.
Just as in all totalitarian countries California parents have surrendered their children to the state. They will not grow up to be good little politically correct echos of the state.
I live in California and I know that is not the Congressional map. My point was that the districts are laid out according to the populations and the way they vote. That map DOES prove where the liberals are in the state.
The premise of the title seems kinda nuts. So... parents should have total say in their kids lives... unless they disagree in which case, take their kids away... Huh? Either you think parents should have full responsibility and control of their kids or you don't. Wanting to take away others kids seems to contradict the whole reasoning behind Prop 73. It really worries me when Conservatives are quick to say the government should take away peoples kinds en-mass. Regardless of how those people vote, the very idea of that should be against everything we believe, as much or more than voting against Prop 73 was.
