JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A 16-year-old admitted drug dealer calmly told jurors Wednesday that he watched John Mosley Jr. strangle a woman, but he broke into sobs when describing holding open a plastic bag while the man stuffed her screaming baby into it.
Bernard Griffin's testimony came on the opening day of Mosley's trial on two charges of first-degree murder in the deaths of 40-year-old Lynda Wilkes and her 10-month-old son, Jay-Quan Mosley.
Assistant State Attorney Libby Senterfitt told jurors in an opening statement that Mosley strangled the woman and suffocated her baby to avoid an upcoming hearing to determine if he was the infant's father. Prosecutors want the death penalty.
Griffin said when Mosley picked him up on April 22, 2004, Wilkes and her baby were in the passenger seat of Mosley's SUV.
The teenager, dressed in brown prison clothes and shackled at his hands and feet, said Mosley drove to a deserted area, told the woman to get out of the car and then strangled her with his hands.
"She was trying to defend herself. She was scratching," Griffin said. "Then she stopped moving."
Griffin said he just sat there as Wilkes was killed.
"I've never seen nothing like that before," he said.
The teenager testified Mosley put a bag over Wilkes head and placed her in the rear of the SUV.

I am continually amazed at the extent to which human beings will go to kill each other.
"I've never seen nothing like that before," he said.

How long will God tolerate us in this nation?
The link has no photo.
Who is this photo of and what is the source?
"Prosecutors want the death penalty."
If ever there's a case for it.....
I still can't believe these bleeding heart liberals who are against the death penalty.
The Democrats will argue that the man was simply exercising his right of choice.
Or is it only women who have that right, according to the Democrats? I forget....
Zell shouldn't worry about afterwards either. His corpse will still be (voting) Democrat too.
Sorry...use the correct defintion...sub-human....they still walk amongst us...
They kill for shoes..they kill for cars..they kill for spite...they kill to avoid responsiblity...they kill for pleasure...
They come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and sexual preferences...
They prey upon the weak....
A wise man/woman goes armed and vigilant...he/she is observant of his/her surroundings and those who surround him/her...
While many avoid eye contact with others...and armed person should seek it out....the eyes are the window to the soul...and they allways show intent...

Imagine the horrible things they see every day....and yet they continue to protect us. I am thankful for them.
Rest in Peace
Once again, I invite liberal scumbags to explain to me why there should not be a death penalty.
Griffin also testified that Mosley had approached him several times about killing a baby with one time offering the teen $15,000. Another time the teenager said, "He (Mosley) told me he was going to get me a gun and for me to go in the home, go in and kill the baby. If someone got in the way, kill everybody in there."

Thank you.
A) Do you have documentation on this?
B) Have you ever met any criminals? They make eye contact, just like everyone else.
"Reading" body language (non-verbal cues) is a much better way to determining who the bad guys are, IMO.
What a sweet little face.
