I'll volunteer!!!! Always looking for ways to serve my country! You volunteer to marry a Frenchwoman? Good Luck. Most make "rising up" problematic. That's probably part of the explanation for the birthrate decline in France. Hard to explain similar declines in Denmark and Sweden though. Must be a different explanation. Surely it doesn't get *that* cold in those countries. There's always summer.

Surely it doesn't get *that* cold in those countries.I thought the cold months were when the pregnancies happened -- nothing to do but stay in bed!
