The old addage about making assumptions may have relevance here. Or maybe not.
You have an argumentative online nature here on FR, and have already made yourself clear on the issue of street activism.
Thanks for bumping the thread. Enjoy your prime rib tomorrow night.
Weather tomorrow night will be cold (low 40s) and clear. Time to break out the ropa interior de invierno.
I'll bring hot beverages tomorrow; and this time I won't forget the little marshmallows.
Are you still catching up on lost sleep? I hope everything's not too busy in your neck of the woods.
Will you be bringing your USMC flag?
When are we gonna see you again, stand watie?
We do not eat at the dinners, we pay the tab for others and then open a tab at the bar, but thanks anyway.
Pinging you to Doug from Upland's project.
At the same time he is over and over and over again telling us how much money he spends on the troops.
But we are the grandstanders. Make sure you keep that straight.
BIG BUMP!

Great Review
[Mrs]
You took some great shots of the Rolling Thunder guys and gals. I'm Freepmailing you a contact for one of the RT guys who asked me to send him any good RT photos. I got a few shots, but none as good as yours. Freepmail on the way!
The facial recognition software keeps printing out "Bill Murray" when we input her parametrics. It also says, "UPDATE FILES: Murray has undergone penis enlargement."
Back from wherever I see, the guy who posts to freepers in Iraq that he himself is on the frontline.
(Quick, go scramble to find my post to friends in Iraq and weakly attempt to twist its meaning. You'd think with all your practice you'd be a bit better at lying, but...)
Hey, last weekend my wife and I bought every active duty Marine a new car!!
You know something that has bothered me ever since I followed a link to Code Pink's website?
These couple of sentences from their "Counter Recruitment" guide. It's near the bottom of the page regarding trying to keep young men from joining the military:
"Military recruiters offer young people glitz and excitement through the use of flashy signs, loaded Hummers, video games, clothing, adventure sports demos, and free gear. We can offer not only better alternatives through resources, but a more exciting and interesting time? (And don't forget to sign-up young women to take part in your CODEPINK chapter's work!)"
UGH! Does anyone else find that HIGHLY suggestive?
UGH! Does anyone else find that HIGHLY suggestive?
Right, I think you nailed it.
Not that this woman is doing anything in particular to recruit anti-war protestors, below is a similar comment that I made in the report for Sept 2:
As the "brain trust" of Luke, Crazy Backpack Guy, and Squeegee
Guy stand at left, a pretty young woman at the center illustrates a
draw for young men to attend anti-war protests.
