After following Hussein's "career" from the early eighties until now, here's what I believe. I believe Hussein was a severe, immediate threat to the security of our country as well as the rest of the world. Any threat to our security threatens the rest of the world...it's that simple.

I believe that Hussein had stockpiles of bio and chem wmds as well as plans for nuclear devices which he planned to give to terrorists who would use them on us. He used chem weapons on his own people, the Kurds, and he used him on the Iranian army. He tried to have the first Bush murdered. He invaded one country and started a war with another. He murdered maybe a million of his own citizens. He had contacts and understandings with Al-Qaeda and Osama Bin-laden. Remember the head terrorist in the first WTC bombing was an Iraqi WHO WENT BACK TO BAGHDAD AFTER THE BOMBING!!!

There were sufficient reasons for deposing him before he harmed us. Evidence vis a vis the recently declassified tapes showed that Hussein had fooled weapons inspectors and would continue to build a nuclear device program. Top officials in his clique claim he had wmds and had transported them out of the country with the help of the Russians. We did the right thing in getting rid of him.
