Berlin (dpa) - A far-right party in Germany said Wednesday that foreigners living in the country should be put into ``collection camps'' and then expelled if French-style violence breaks out.
The National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD), which last year won 9.2 per cent of the vote in Saxony state and has 12 seats in the regional parliament, called for laws aimed at reducing the population of resident foreigners.
Germany has about 7.3 million foreigners who comprise some 9 per cent of the total population.
``If riots are organised like in France then collection camps and vigilantes must be organised in time to protect life and property,'' said the NPD.
When you say Muslims, I think you mean Islamists.
I don't get into arguments about what faith is superior, and I have seen much evidence of perverted Islam. Then again, I have known some good Muslims. And I am reluctant to tar any group with the same brush. It's just not right.
Now, I am going to teach my kids to use a gun. But I am also going to teach them to respect people. Islam is a religion, that has encouraged a bit more abuse, violence and war than most. At the same time, it has had good periods. And it does have many ethical followers as well. I will not support any group based measures in the current situation. If the situation changes, that's a different matter. But it would have to change a lot. A lot of people gave up their lives to give us the freedoms we enjoy today. We can't throw them away for a fleeting security that may or may not actually result.
And our G-d will protect us, so long as we follow His Laws. We have known tough times before, and we will know them again. But we will come through so long as we remain strong in faith, mind and body. And we can.

You're right about importing. Which is why our immigration system needs an extensive overhaul. And we can export violators of our ways. But we can not punish the innocent. Sorry. No go.

America was founded by and added to by undesirable elements in the midst of other nations. The poor and cast off of the British Isles by the millions. The poor English, Scots, Scots-Irish and the odd Welshman. Italians, Irish, Jews all unwanted in Europe. Chinese. And many more. Today, Indians and Hispanics are integrating relatively well into our society, following the pattern set by many other people. It's hard at first, but the kids generally get better (there are always many exceptions of course), and sooner or later, they're no longer anything but American. Here, we believe in giving people a chance. In innocent until proven guilty. In the potential of the individual.
Expelling non-Europeans is a ridiculous, racist idea. Anyone can make a great citizen, so long as they are willing to love America and its ideals and the opportunities it offers. Should they come here if they don't? No, but that's a different story. Should they come here legally? Of course. And those that don't should be sent back. But should we discriminate against people without knowing anything about them? No.
How about we start killing the poor? Or sterilizing "trailer trash"? Should we kill the disabled?
Hell no. North America was a haven from a mistakes of the Old World: of Europe. And it continues to be, and more besides: it's now a haven from the mistakes of Asia and Mexico and everywhere else too. And it will continue to be so long as we remain true to its ideals and the Constitution and the Judeo-Christian morality (though if you want to practice something else, by all means, so long as you are a good citizen, and I'll enthusiastically wish a Happy Diwali, or Beltane, or nothing, or whatever else you wish).
Paranoia and panick aside, and the moral horror of terrorist attacks aside as well, we are safe so long as we remain true to America and what she represents.
Palisades is not a Lefty and is making excellent points. And just because some Muslims do sometihng does not mean all of them do. There are white slavers bringing over girls from Eastern Europe to serve as whores in underground brothels in America, where they chain the girls up. Should we kick out all white people? No. We should help the Sudanese Christians (and animists and whoever else are being enslaved and ethnically cleansed), you are right. And we should oppose and kill those who try to enslave them or ethnically cleanse them.
But I won't be tarred with the same brush as Hitler just because I have brown hair. Nor will I be tarred with the same brush as Attila the Hun because my skin is pale. Blond Norwegians are guilty of rape and pillage just because the Vikings were. Every group has bad apples. Some have more than others. You can't punish the whole group because of it. I hear that. Anti-semitism is still considerable in Europe and is making a comeback. And I study in Britain now, and I can say that it's far more racist than back home. Racism is a fundamentally stupid idea, that makes little to no sense. But some people persist in believing the crap. Ideologies matter far more. Because that's something you choose, and something you (in theory) live your life by. Which is why Islamists are always going to be a problem, while (for example) all Eskimos won't be.

Every continent, with the exception of Antarctica, has suffered at the hands Muslims doing jihad. I wish I could dredge up an accurate body count with a reference to an internet link. But from all of the individual countries, especially Africa and India, millions have been murdered.

AFAIK, there were never actually IRA homicide bombers. They would plant bombs and such, but I don't think they ever (intentionally) blew themselves up.

And the Muslims aren't anti-Semitic? Anti-Semitism has grown in places where Socialism has stamped out Christianity. And Christianity is almost gone from Europe.
