San Francisco proves they are neither interested in defending themselves, nor their country, with yesterday's votes.
They will, however, lead in singing several choruses of "Kumbaya".

Only two other major U.S. cities Washington in 1976 and Chicago in 1982 have implemented similar handgun bans. And look at how well it's worked for them! /sarc

I can just see the caravans of Bloods and Crips and the Latino gangs heading North to San Francisco to rob, kill and rape. Nothing to stop them.

I think this is a wonderful teaching moment.
The city of San Francisco will serve as an excellent object lesson in the consequences of gun control.

This is sensible gun control, A COMPLETE ban on handguns and ammo is "sensible" gun control. What the liberals really think of the 2nd Amendment...

If you ban firearms, the criminals will have them and the law-abiding citizens wont, said Alan Gottlieb, chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. San Francisco will be a magnet for crimes.
I foresee a run on shotguns.

"If you ban firearms, the criminals will have them and the law-abiding citizens won't," said Alan Gottlieb, chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. "San Francisco will be a magnet for crimes." This may be the case that makes it to the Supreme Court. This is a violation of the Second Amendment, and someone is going to sue to keep San Francisco from violating their Constitutional rights!! I hope Judge Alito is on the bench when it arrives at the SC. We can't let San Francisco get away with this because other cities are going to follow suit.
