I drove right next to the "thing" and gave the middle finger and mouthed some obscenities....too many of these people are clueless morons...

I don't have it quite so bad. I live in Sacramento, and am heartily ashamed to see how it's gone "NO" on most of the propositions (even if only by 51%), but it is "YES" on 73 - by 52%. Sacramento County is 10-1 dems. I'm the lone Republican in my neighborhood, and my flag is out every day, and I had the only Bush-Cheney yard signs for a four-block radius. Hehehe.
