so lets put it on the ballot again and let them pi$$ away more millions...pretty soon the rank and file will get tired of paying for a few leaders perks and political pandering.
You see though you only have one chance to make a good first impression. Once they put this back on ballot again, it becomes easy to cry, "The voters already rejected this measure! Arnold (or substitute other Republican entity) is just trying to silence and destroy the poor teachers and fire fighters!".
It's going to become a terrible game to play. They won't have to raise as much money next go-around. Of course, if we were willing to fight it tooth and nail however then we might be able to pull some of their fangs. But we won't -- the CA Republican party is about as impotent in this state as the Libertarians are in others.
