'Outsiders,' huh? So sensitive. So, so sensitive.
Probably. The westside wins on 73. I think the union dues is probably dead as both sides do the coup de grace.
If Arnold's "chief strategist" was the one who suggested de-emphasizing support for Prop 73 in favor of supporting Prop 77, then he has nothing to say that I'm interested in hearing.
This is but one battle lost. At the end of the day, we're not worse off for these proposition losses than we were yesterday.
Big problems for 75: San Bernardino, which should be helping, with 31% reporting, shows only 51% in favor. LA (with 8.5%) showing 48% support. If San Bernardino doesn't get it's act in gear, 75 is doomed.
What...you prefer "ignorant jackass"? Fine by me.
You are so optimistic. I am awed by the depth of ignorance and narcisism among our California voters, and I'm afraid I am not feeling so optimistic about the future. Who are these people who are so insistent that children have freedom to have abortions without parental notification -- I know that the abortionists are not counseling these children, but taking their money and pushing them through the revolving door. It is beyond criminal -- it is soul-less.
Well too tell you the truth, I didn't want to come back. However I am a Pastor of a church here in the Central Valley, ie Ripon, I told God anywhere but Ca. here I am and will make the best of it and get involved as I did in MO. All is not lost, I lived in Mass. for a short time now that is LOST!
thank you... but i cannot help being in tears here... i just feel like God did not step in this time... i was hoping we would pull this one out... it's devastating... but i do know in the end, the gates of hell will not prevail...
How many more members are you going to try your best to
get in a brawl with on here tonight?
Are you sure your not your Harry Reids twin brother?
Your sure getting to sound and act like him.
San Diego and Orange counties aren't fully in yet.
It's hard to project LA because we don't know what area of LA County is in and what's out.
California's death warrant was signed tonight by the stupid public. Yes, we can still pass an initiative now and then that tinkers at the margins. And the liberals won't necessarily pass their measures at the ballot box. But they don't really need to. And no big conservative reform that truly threatens the liberal dictatorship is likely to pass. It will become increasingly hard even to get such things on the ballot.
By the time the liberals are finished running this state into the ground, the public might wake up. Might. But it will be too late to repair the damage.
The rest of America should not laugh. This movie may soon be showing in your neighborhood, folks.
Looks like Alameda Co stopped voting, I guess they will hang out there in case they need a few extra votes somewhere to put the lefties over the top
This guy only opened his mouth and I can tell he's a moron. He still thinks it's too early to declare it the election dead.
Sick, disgusting, and evil as well. What the hell kind of parents (or even people without children for that matter) would vote against this?
He's gotten these suggestions into peoples heads. After all the lies and spin dies down, people will stop and think.
During the Clinton impeachment, Clinton was looking like he was going to sneak through it all according to public opinion, but afterwords, when people calmed down and the spin stopped, he hit a dismal 23% approval rating, and has either been the butt of late night jokes or an embarrassment to this country ever since.
After tonight, these issues will still be in the minds of the voters, and what they REALLY were about will sink in. It'll be too late to change their votes now, but 2006 is just ahead. No one likes to be deceived.
Having an opinion is one thing, but acting like you have the solution is folly. Hell, you don't even know the political landscape of California and you're acting like the solution is oh-so-simple.
Well, if it's so simple, then I suggest you go into a career of political advising and come on over and fix California. But no...instead you just sit over in Nevada ("thankfully," in your words) and smugly lay down pronouncements from your most high seat.
And you expect us to be impressed. *tossing a nickel your way* Here. Buy yourself a clue.
Tis but one battle in a long affair we know as political war.
lol
It's just a flesh wound Sarge.. I can make it. ;-)
