Sacramento's not that big compared to San Bernadino. 70% of Sacramento's in. Less than 10% of San Bernadino is. And Sacramento's not as bad as you think - 48-52 no on 73.

You also have most of San Diego and half of Riverside out.

Pointing out that the fact that a no-brainer ballot like 73 is failing, and even that it's close, isn't delusion.

It reflects exactly what's happening.

According to Roger Hedgecock this afternoon San Benito has reflected the state's voting for something like 70 years. Something like that.

If we take them as our bell weather, they've finished reporting and all measures FAILED.

I understand his embracing Tom in an attempt to draw some folks back to him, and I wish them both well in the future.

Maybe they can be a team that can get it done next fall but they will need to be on the top of their games and a lot of folks will need to not sit on the bench as they appear to have in some inland conservative strongholds if I read the turnout charts correctly.

If nothing else, this has been a warm-up for the big events to come.

Please retract your invitation to HitmanNY. The last thing we need here is another trite, inane blowhard!

On the contrary; he'd be a perfect fit in Berkeley, San Fran or Sacramento! Loads of smarmy do-nothings there. Fit right in.

Agreed. I'm a McClintock supporter extremely pleasantly surprised by Arnold. Arnold and Tom will be getting my votes next year.

Abortion is brutally dismembering an offspring from the mothers womb while it's still alive, without as much as an aspirin to ease the pain.

You were speaking of the pain of the baby, but you made me think of another hypocrisy of the anti-73 argument.

Children at school may not be given a Tylenol without parental PERMISSION. Yet these people feel that those same children should be able to receive intravenous anesthetic (while having the grandchildren scraped out of their wombs) without the parents even being notified.

All the NARAL stuff kept harping on girls who'd been victims of incest... yada, yada, yada... sick stuff, like the proposition didn't specifically state in a case of problems in the home they would get the girl a guardian at lit um.

Sacramento has moved right in the last 15 years, contra to the state, but tonight, it is splitting its vote on 73-75 about evenly so far.

More precients have been reported. Prop. 73 just ticked up from 49.1 to 49.4%. Prop. 75 did not move from its place of 50.5%.

Unfortunately, Alameda and Los Angeles STILL haven't moved. At least in the case of Alameda, we have 20% in. Los Angeles...2.7%.

I fear you're right. However, while the core of LA is a bunch of Rats, the bedroom ring is friendly. The core (central) precincts report to Norwalk more quickly. Expect LA to split the baby on 73 (pun intended) and 75, and maybe slightly opposed. But if we can keep the "yes" votes to over 48% in LA County, 73 and 75 will win.

Self-evaluating your own drivel to be cogent is, indeed, pathological.

Pointing out that the fact that a no-brainer ballot like 73 is failing, and even that it's close, isn't delusion.

Since you're not in this state, I'll forgive your absolute and utter ignorance for how the Republican side of the equation all but abandoned support for Prop 73. Hell, even the much ballyhoo'd "Governator" didn't give outright support for 73. He only went out of his way to support 74 through 77. And that was it. Everything else was left to die on the vine as far as Ahhnold and the CA GOP was concerned.

So please, don't bother acting like you know what the hell is going on in California. Your idiotic blatherings were entertaining at first. Now they're just pathetically annoying.

Native San Diegan here too.
I just wish the California electorate was more like San Diego and Orange County. The Bay Area and LA wipe us out in the state elections.

Jeez. I figured Arnold would pull off at least two of them. Now I will be happy if he gets only one.

At least the Unions had to blow a wad of money on this. That should hurt them good for a while.

The studios are laying off people because all the 'talent' have insulted and pi$$ed off the 'little' people and none of us are going to the movies... they need to zip it and keep it zipped -- plus some decent scripts would help.

I think Los Angeles is going to be better on 73 than you expect. At least close to even, if not in favor due to the large Catholic/Hispanic population. Just like some of the rural hispanic counties.

We'll have to wait and see.

We live here, we are aware of the problems in this state. What we don't need is a lecture on morals from resident of a state that legalized prostitution and gambling eons ago when California was still conservative...
