It's hard to define Kaine as a liberal since he wasn't one.

Tom Davis looks like death on local news while being interviewed. It seems like we lost some open assembly races up north aside from the other stuff.

One does hope Catholics in Virginia are not as easily mesled as their brethren in New Jersey.

Why shouldn't they be...Kilgore never called him on it so it appeared to people who wouldn't know any better that Kaine was a good Catholic boy being abused because of his faith. He's a pro abort from the word go...opposed parental consent and a ban on partial birth abortion but Kilgore let him paint himself as a solid Catholic defending the teaching of the Church vs the death penalty. Kilgore blew it.

If the top vote getter has less than 50%, will there be a runoff?

I would not be surprised if there were some casualties in the Richmond and Norfolk areas as well. The swings there against all the top ballot Pubbies were huge.

Actually, he is one. He just never runs as one.

WHAT?????????

Of course he's a liberal. Warner was able to get away with running as a semi-conservative, but Kaine is no Warner.

Pittsylvania County: 38,000 voters, 2 to 1 Bush in 2004, no results yet, more hope to go with Loudoun. I'm not giving up as the numbers are getting narrower.

Kilgore must be trying to please the PTA folks. The PTA is against school choice.

True. And his death penalty ads didn't help.

He could have attacked Kaine on the Death Penalty without attacking the fact that, as a defense attorney, Kaine actually argued on behalf of his client convicted of murder. When I saw the ad, I thought, "Is he suggesting a defense attorney should take another position?"

If Kilgore blew it anywhere on Kaine and his so called faith it was abortion, not the death penalty.

Kilgore didn't take the no tax pledge. The Republicans in Richmond have been all too happy to go along with Dem efforts to raise taxes. It's getting hard to tell a Dem from a Republican in VA--John Wahner being a good example.

I want to puke. If this is the start of a trend toward the RATS, I question whether this country deserves to survive.
