Only if our politicians allow it and if that happens, they had better be ready to leave!

I'd like to take a poll of the Freepers.

How many handguns and rifles do you own?

Do you regularily shoot them?

Do you store a lot of ammo with your weapons?

Which weapon would you use on a La Raza dude that was trying to light up your brand new Chevy pickup truck?

"and every one in the home over the age of 10-12 are skilled in the use "

That is one of the reasons the US Army is so good. Recuits already know how to use a rifle and use it well. Unlike Euro Armies were recuits have never even seen one prior to joining up. That's one reason why the civil war was so bloody, both sides were very good shots.

Well I hate to break this to you but not only are all you loyal Americans armed, but so are La Raza. So if this were to start in the USA it would not be *at all* like what you see in France. We are much better armed *on both sides* and lots more people would die. Lots more people DID die in the last major LA riots, and in lots of previous riots in Newark, Detroit, LA and elsewhere.

Were the Raza ever to get organized for mayhem they would be formidible. Lots of them are already organized into gangs, sets, and colors. Today they focus on dealing drugs and petty crime and manage to accomplish lots of both with near impunity. Think about your suburban neighborhood being invaded by 40 career criminal, prison hardened Azatlan "rioters". How many houses would even be able to put up a fight?

Another issue is that while most of the Paris suburbs is built of reinforced concrete (good small arms cover) which is fireproof, most of suburban LA, Dallas, San Jose, etc. is wood frame. Thus the arson in a future U.S. scenario will not be limited to cars but include lots of buildings. This was the case in all previous U.S. Riots.

I love my guns as much as the next red-blooded American but I don't believe they alone will prevent widespread death and destruction if an oranized uprising (which is clearly what we are seeing in France, despite the media lies) were to take place here.

"After watching OReilly last night, with the clueless councilwoman talking about totally outlawing guns, they know they don't have to worry about San Francisco."

I saw that segment too, I felt like putting my boot through the TV.

She said something like..."can you IMAGINE if everyone was ARMED? They'd all be running around shooting each other"!

I amazes me to think that this adult can actually get dressed in the morning or do simple tasks like operate an elevator or a stove. Perhaps is better that she should not have a gun after all.

Just another clueless moron.

When I read about the background of Tony... I am stunned that this POS actually got elected to office.

It's scary.

An insurrection of the type that is occurring in France is not likely at present. The high percentage of personal firearms ownership, the absence of a driving ideology as the Muslims have, the better record of American police departments (outside of inner cities) and the National Guard in quelling unrest, and the hostility between the two largest ethnic minorities in this country preclude it from happening here. However, in 20 years the story may be very much different. Consider these factors:

* Declining levels of firearms ownership and the drop in the popularity of hunting
* More areas, especially in the Southwest, developing Hispanic majorities due to a lack of political will to control immigration (If the Feds would close the borders, within 50 years, Mexican Americans would be well on the way to assimilation, as happened with Southern and Eastern Europeans after restrictive laws in the 1920s effectively ended immigration therefrom.)
* The declining birthrate among Anglo whites
* the numbing effect of a popular culture and education system that fails to encourage self-reliance and dealing with reality
* The ongoing effects of moral degeneracy and deviancy, as well as political correctness, on the ability of the white population to resist minority aggressiveness
* Lower percentages of military veterans in the overall population compared with Baby Boomers and earlier generations
* The continued festering of the criminal and anarchic cesspools in black ghettos from Boston to Los Angeles, as well as the ongoing recruitment of blacks into Islam

We may sneer at the French, but are we looking into our future 20-30 years from now? Throw in an economic recession and possibly an American military defeat against China or radical Islam. The trends are not good.

What happens if you try to shoot them in the legs, but miss and hit their heart or their head.

I could see that happening a lot.

ALL OF US CAN LEGALLY CARRY. WE HAVE A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO BE AT LEAST AS WELL ARMED AS A US ARMY INFANTRYMAN.

WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING PERMITS, REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE STATE AND LOCAL JOHNNY LAW SAYS.

I'm sorry for yelling.

Plus the French are disarmed, the elites do not like the idea of the "rabble" having the means of tossing them out of power. Sure sign things are going to take a turn for the worse is gun laws. A good government does not fear an armed citizenry. Only a tyrannical government fears it's own citizens. In fact a really good government would required it's male citizen to be armed and provide training when asked.

They can and will but it won't happen until the Government confinskates all privately owned firearms. Which will probably happen when the Democrats regain power.

"Can a similar insurrection occur in the USA?" asks Ernesto Cienfuegos of La Voz de Aztlan. Yes, he concludes.

Go ahead, make our day.

You're forgetting one important fact: The majority of lawful gun owners are a much better shot than these gang banging thugs you claim will wipe the map so to speak. Heck, I live in PA, there is a literal army of deer hunters/snipers. I would be scared if I was them, not the other way around...

You are right about that. When they come to burm my car, house, or anything else so long as the Good Lord gives me the strength to pull a trigger and gunpowder burns, I'll make a believer out of some of them.
