This outrageous story promotes discrimmination against the diverse armed robbery community. That merchant should be put away on charges!
OReilly was on tonight debating a San Francisco gun grabber - I think it was a councilperson. He ripped her a new one. As they were closing, he started yelling, "get a gun!"
He said the New Orleans riots opened his eyes to the 2nd amendment. He said you can't let government defend you.
She made a real fool of herself - when O'Reilly said what would she do in a bad neighborhood in NO during the hurricane, she said strengthen penalties for gun crime. He gave that all the respect it deserved.
I know a lot of people don't like BOR but this is worth catching on the rerun tonight.
Another cheerful story! Thanks.
I've bought several pieces of jewelry in the LA Jewelry District (I get in trouble with the wife from time to time). There is a lot of bling in the area of 6th and Hill. I always thought those shop owners were packing.
I wonder what the LA county attorney will charge the jeweler with?
at the Lucky Gems store...
"The owner sustained a gunshot wound to the hand and is in OK condition..."
All's OK at the OK Corral. This guy was good. Two perps, apparently with guns, try to rob him. He plugs them both, and suffers only a wound to the hand.
~~ping~~
I'm glad one of the robbers got what he deserved and the other one hopefully got a clue to reform his ways. But, it's sad that the owner's hand was injured, since jewelry often involves very delicate handiwork.
A happy bedtime story. Thanks and sweet dreams!
What? why didnt he just do what the robbers say and co-operate with them, and then call 911 so the police could begin an investigation? geesh. Who does this think he is using a gun to defend himself from criminals? We all know the only guns that are moral are guns used by hollywood celeberty bodyguards. Dont this guy know that there is a greater chance a child will find this gun in his house and use it on himself .....
hey!!! who switched my computer to liberal mode?
must be a hippie virus.
O'R's still a putz. It took him THIS long to figure out the 2nd Amendment? Duh! He lost me looooooong before he started talking dirty on the phone.
This is why what's happening in Paris is unlikely to happen here. Off the subject, sort of, I keep hearing about the deathtolls in the LA riots being about 50 or so, IIRC. How many of them were rioters that were shot by armed citizens and how many were citizens shot by rioters? Any body count?
I remember reading about a jewelry store owner in California who was targeted for armed robbery several times over a period of several years, and he fought them off every time. It got so bad that it became personal, that the last robber's family or fellow gang members threatened to spray the place with automatic fire. The shop owner was then forced to close up and sell on-line.
Second perp had a neck wound. I'd give the store owner an A+ for dealing with two bad guys, at least one armed.
He should work on double taps.
